Story
Nora joined our family in 2022 when she was adopted from a friend who was moving out of town. From the moment she arrived, she’s been a bundle of energy and joy, always ready to chase her favorite fish toys or bat around a ball (she’s practically a pro at fetch!). Nora isn’t just playful – she’s also incredibly smart. She responds to her name and even follows commands like “sit,” “come here,” “down” (off the counter), and “up” (on the counter). She’s fully litter-trained and loves spending her days lounging on the patio, soaking up the sun. But here’s where Nora truly shines: she’s a natural-born pest control expert! In the summer, she puts her hunting skills to work, catching, killing, and even eating flies (or any insect that dares to buzz around). She’s our very own eco-friendly bug zapper! Nora is more than just a pet – she’s a clever, loving, and endlessly entertaining member of the family. Whether she’s playing fetch, patrolling for pests, or just chilling on the patio, she br

Story
Meet Hank the Tank – A Gentle Giant Ready for His Forever Home!Hank the Tank is a big, beautiful, fluffy black and white boy with a heart just as big as his paws. This sweet guy has had a rough start in life, found alone outside and often bullied by other cats due to his gentle nature. Thankfully, a kind foster stepped in to give him the care he needed, and now he’s ready for a loving home of his own.Hank has been fully vaccinated, neutered, and given a clean bill of health. While he may need a little time to adjust, once he feels safe, he blossoms into a wonderfully affectionate companion. He adores pets, cozy spots to nap, and the simple joy of knowing he’s finally somewhere he belongs. If you're looking for a kindhearted, resilient, and loving cat who just needs a little patience to show his full personality, Hank the Tank could be the perfect match for you. Give this sweet boy the home he’s always deserved!Interested in adopting Hank? Contact us today to learn more about bringing this gentle giant into your life!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.February 6, 2025, 9:10 pm

Story
Looking for a loving home for my cat! She has been with me for 9 years, but with our recent move, busy lifestyle, and with a toddler, she has not been loved as much as she would like. She is a very affectionate lap cat, loves snuggles, and will groom you and follow you around like a dog. Rehoming because she has been peeing/pooping outside the littler box due to stress - we cannot be there to love her and give her attention. We’ve taken her to the vet but was told there was nothing medically wrong, just needs more love/attention. Serious inquiries only. Looking for someone that will give her all the love she deserves. All cat supplies included.
