Story
Meet Pigeon. He has a silly name and makes funny faces, but his heart is pure! Pigeon has been in our care and a foster home for many weeks being shown trust and love. He continues to grow and feel comfortable, and every day he is showing a bit more of his personality. Pigeon would love a home where he can be shown patience. There should be an understanding that he does not make instant connections, but through intentional socialization and time, a relationship is made that really pulls on the heartstrings. Relationships like these make incredible bonds that are emotional and rewarding for both the person and the cat. Pigeon is learning how to trust and show himself. If you want to take that journey with him, it will be full of love and joy. This cat is currently in a foster home and unavailable for adoption at the adoption center. If you want to learn more about this cat please email us at adoptions@seattleareafelinerescue.org. Thank you for choosing adoption and making a rescued kitty part of your family! Our team is looking forward to welcoming you to SAFe’s Adoption Center (20226 Ballinger Way NE Shoreline, WA 98155). Story
Bruno is 1 year old, litter box trained, and loves to play. Bruno is fun to watch when he gets the zoomies and will play with most toys. Bruno has no problems with children of all ages. He was given up, along with his sister May May and his brother Maui. They live with other male and female cats and get along with no issues. He also lives with 3 dogs of all sizes and doesn’t mind them. Bruno has lived inside his whole life and is just waiting for his forever home. Is that you?IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.March 27, 2024, 10:51 am

Story
Isumie came to me as a kitten when she was abandoned under a bridge in Arlington, Washington. A transient brought her into my vets office and I volunteered to take her. I've had her for 11 years now. She is the sweetest thing. She snuggles so much. She loves to burro under blankets and sleep against you. Loves her "num-nums" ( temptation treats) and is still playful. I've had her rabies shots up-to-date because I usually get her groomed, and from past vet visits I haven't been advised to give her any other shots just the rabies. She is strictly an indoor cat, although on a nice summer day she will venture out to the front yard for some vitamin D, but not for too long.

Story
Meet Elm! This sweet boy is on a journey of rediscovery, learning to come out of his shell and trust again. Elm adores affection and absolutely loves to be pet, basking in every moment of love and attention. With his docile nature, he's the perfect companion for a quiet, gentle home environment. Elm has experience living with small dogs and cats, and as long as they respect his space, we believe he would be okay in a home with them again. His favorite spot is snuggled under blankets, where he feels safe and secure, and he's blossoming into a more confident kitty with each passing day of love and care. If you're ready to offer Elm the patience and understanding he deserves, he'll reward you with endless love and affection. Elm is neutered, up to date on vaccines, and microchipped.
