Story
Gangsta is a beautiful girl with soft grey fur. Her unique name comes from her start in life on the streets. When her 3 litter mates were caught no one knew she existed until 4 days later we heard a large Owl hooting in the backyard and then a kitten crying. Luckily We found her before the owl, she was out on her own all alone for 4 nights. In order to survive on her own with no Momma and no siblings we said she must be a bit of a Gangsta to survive by herself that long. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested FeLV/FIV negative. Misfit Felines Inc is a foster based 501(c)3 rescue. All of our cats are in foster homes. The first step in the adoption process is to submit an application. Apply: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/MFR/Cat

Story
✨Mercury: the smallest, steadfast planet in our solar system, as well as the swiftest among the Roman Gods - an associate of the Underworld. This little spitfire is amongst the sweetest of felines. Found cowering behind a snow shovel on the back porch of a Good Samaritan in Stoughton, Mercury endured a hellish early childhood - separated from his mother, harrowingly avoiding death’s cold grasp in the talons of a bird of prey, and finding himself petrified, starved, and sickly. Through his fostering journey, Mercury began to grow (Mom said the tapeworms cannot rule the ruins) rather quickly, and with it, his personality began to blossom; a uniquely vocal, saucy, sweet handsome devil with a breathtaking coat (a medium haired chocolate color, with slivers of silver/gray tabby markings on his backside). He requires constant praise and affection - despite his playful nature, he can be quite shy in new surroundings, and has a tendency to quicken himself to seek out the smallest areas under the couch and recliner. Patience and perseverance are key. Although he has been around other pups, he has quickly proven he is not fond of them. I do genuinely believe that a pup who has the patience of a saint would be okay (or one that believes that they, too, are felines trapped in the wrong body). Other felines has been a work in progress: he enjoys the company of other cats - especially those who are not aggressive/dominant. His best friend, Stuart (another foster) is his entire world. Mercury is typically found close by Stuart (whether that be snuggling/sleeping, leading Stuart around via chirping, eating, or roughhousing) - thus, finding a home with Stuart is a must. • Favorite toys: glitter balls to carry about, crinkly balls (he shares with Stuart - despite him having very limited vision:blind, Stuart fetches), lasers, wand toys, cardboard to destroy.

Story
Mr. Toad is a silky soft boy with a little white mustache. He’s a very sweet boy who rubs up against you and makes biscuits. Toad was a spicy kitty for a long time but now he knows how great human connection can be! Toad loves wet food and will ask for it when he knows you’re about to open a can. Toad would do best with a confident feline in his adoptive home to show him that life can be fun and comfortable. But he can also be an only cat. We know Toad would do well with a family willing to give him a couple weeks to adjust. He just needs a little time to trust and then he will be an amazing friend.

Story
Home for the Holidays Adoption Promotion Participant: $35 adoption fee 12/20-12/21 Meet Kloe Kloe is a beautiful gray, long-haired cat with a soft coat and a sweet, gentle nature. She came to us from a local hoarding case, with 80+ cats living in the home. She can be a bit shy at first and prefers to take things at her own pace, but she feels most comfortable in a calm, quiet environment. Kloe gets along well with other cats and would do best in a home with another feline friend to help her feel secure. With patience, a peaceful setting, and a loving companion, Kloe will make a wonderful addition to the right home. All our cats are spayed/neutered, dewormed, FELV tested, microchipped, receive prevention while in our care, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. If you're interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website at https://www.sftsrescue.org/adoptable-cats

Story
Home for the Holidays Adoption Promotion Participant: $35 adoption fee 12/20-12/21 Meet KOA KOA is a calm and gentle girl with a soft, nurturing spirit. She came to us as part of our local Camper Cat case, where 55 cats were living in a camper with their owner. As a former mama, she’s done an amazing job and is now ready to focus on herself. She can be a bit shy at first, but with each positive interaction, she continues to come out of her shell and grow more comfortable around people. KOA enjoys a peaceful environment and gentle attention, and she blossoms with patience and kindness. She’s looking for a loving home where she can continue building confidence and enjoy the quiet affection she deserves. All our cats are spayed/neutered, dewormed, FELV tested, microchipped, receive prevention while in our care, and up to date on age-appropriate vaccines. Story
I'm 66 and and have heart problems. I have had her since she was 7 weeks old. She hates being groomed and now has a huge mound of poop stuck in her fur and won't let me try to get it off. I got so sick from the smell. Someone who can afford to take care of her is who her owner needs to be. She's a good cat. Friendly.
