Story
Best Match: Seeking an adopter with some cat experience Could join a calm home with older kids May be okay with other cats Needs to be indoor only Receives daily medication and a monthly injection to stay happy and healthy On a special diet Gerard is a senior with the spirit of a much younger cat. This confident and friendly fellow is an explorer at heart, always wandering from room to room and keeping a keen eye on the outside world through windows. He loves watching birds and can get quite excited when he spots another cat—he might even let out a squeak of excitement! He also enjoys jumping up on things and finding high spots to survey his domain. He’s not much for toys, but when it’s treat time, he gets very excited, especially for crunchy snacks. With his luxurious, fluffy coat and gorgeous markings, Gerard is a sight to behold. He loves being brushed, and enjoys pets and skritches. Gerard adapts wonderfully to a new home and bonds quickly to his family—he’ll follow you around and demand lap time.  While Gerard is doing great for his age, he does take a few medications, but don’t let that fool you—he’s still agile, even with arthritis, and can jump up onto the bed without any trouble. Gerard is a social cat who thrives in a calm environment where he can get plenty of human attention. He’d do best in a home where someone is around most of the time, ready to provide the companionship he craves. If this sounds like you, please fill out our http://form.jotform.com/cattownoak/adoption-inquiries ! Gerard is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and is negative for FIV/FeLV. May 12, 2025, 12:35 pm

Story
Best Match: Seeking an adopter with some experience Will be most comfortable in an adult only home Part of a bonded pair May be ok with other cats Needs to be indoor only Beautiful tuxie Rosie is blossoming! This extra fluffy girl is sassy, silly, inquisitive and affectionate, according to her foster. Add love and patience and you might earn a nose bop and kiss. Shy at first, Rosie’s confidence grows day by day and she’s found her voice. Literally. She trills and chirps as she wanders around the house. Once she gets to know you, she may chirp at your approach and begin purring even before the pets begin.   Rosie is easy and fun at playtime! Just a few minutes at a time are needed for an hour or two in the evening. She’ll crouch and pounce, plus bat, chomp, and chase after wand toys. The cat dancer (with feather, please) and a sparkly feather wand are favorites. Creative Rosie might also repurpose items around the house for play. Are you missing your pajama bottoms? Her daily routine includes morning exploration and snoozing by day. Gazing out the window is a new hobby. Rosie is most active in the evening and that’s usually when she interacts with MIssy, her bonded partner. They get along fairly well with bolder Rosie taking  the lead in exploring and starting play. Sometimes Missy is interested, sometimes not. Both girls are active at night while their person is sleeping.    Understanding cat body language is important with Rosie as sometimes she gets excited and affectionate and can overstimulate. A cardboard scratcher is a must for both girls. Rosie would also benefit from daily brushing to maintain her beautiful coat.  If you’re looking for a delightful, curious and affectionate companion, Rosie may be the girl for you! She is bonded with Missy. Rosie is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is negative for FIV and FeLV. Story
Best Match: Seeking an adopter with some experience Will be most comfortable in an adult only home Part of a bonded pair May be ok with other cats Needs to be indoor only Beautiful tabby Missy may be very shy, but each step of gaining her trust is extraordinarily rewarding, according to her foster parents. With love, persistence and patience, her curious, sweet, and playful nature starts to shine. It also helps that she’s paired with Rosie, a slightly more confident role model.  This extra fluffy girl displays her progress through pets: At first she didn’t react, then she put her head down and closed her eyes. Now MIssy leans in, purring very softly. She likes pets on her head, scratches around her neck and ears, and gentle strokes along her back. After all day spent snoozing hidden away in her bed, MIssy emerges for dinner and playtime. Missy lets loose when it comes to play, preferably with her favorite sparkly feather wand. She usually observes before jumping into action and sometimes gets so excited, she’ll stand on her hind legs and do little hops while swatting. Missy will also play from afar by swatting the air as she lays on her back watching the moving toy a few feet away. It’s definitely fun to watch Missy have so much fun! Missy also plays with Rosie. They get along fairly well and generally respect each other’s space; Missy is good at communicating her boundaries when needed. Sometimes Rosie takes over playtime and that’s when Missy could use some encouragement.  Earning Missy’s trust will take time, patience, consistency and of course, love. Her progress on pets and abandon at playtime, offer a glimpse of all the fun and reward ahead. Bonded with  mischievous Rosie, they’re the furry definition of Ying and Yang — different, but interconnected.  Missy is spayed, vaccinated, and microchipped. She is negative for FIV and FeLV. Story
Best Match: Seeking an adopter with some cat experience Could join a calm home with older kids Needs a cat buddy Needs to be indoor only On a special diet for digestive issues Who says cats are mysterious? Not handsome Lynx point Ansel! His foster says Ansel has an extremely expressive face that tells you exactly how he’s feeling. Also, while he may look elegant and serious with his beautiful markings and china blue eyes, he’s really just a chatty, affectionate lovebug.  You can be affectionate with Ansel from the start — It helps build his confidence. Like most cats, he’s quite shy in a new environment, but bonding with his human makes a difference. Once he’s comfy, he’s also vocal, but not loud. Ansel will sweetly trill and offer chirpy meows. He’ll also let you know when he’d like some pets, please. That’s usually when he’s snuggling with his person at bedtime. And no worries if you oversleep as Ansel will gently poke you with his paw.    Ansel’s play style is to wrestle and hug his stuffed toys both big and small. He’s friendly with his foster siblings and has spent time playing cat peek-a-boo, sleeping next to them, and hiding together when the vacuum comes out. Ansel likes to sleep most of the day and explore by night when everyone else is sleeping, and he's more active in the morning.    Don’t let Ansel’s good looks fool you - he’s a sensitive boy tuned in to the moods and activities of the humans around him. You can tell how much he loves their affection because when you hold him he melts in your arms!   Ansel is on a special diet for digestive issues.    Ansel is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. He is positive for FIV but negative for FELV.
