Inky is an 11-year-old, 10-pound, friendly and gentle cat, well-loved by his late owner. He’s sweet, affectionate, and enjoys being a lap cat, though he’s also playful. Inky has lived with other cats and could get along with a compatible one or be your only cat. He’s in good health and has always been well cared for. His family will provide a lifetime supply of food (delivered quarterly) and a generous fund for his medical care, covering all vet costs except for cancer treatment or invasive procedures. Take a walk on the wild side with gorgeous bonded pair Goose and Fox! These two met as young kittens in foster and have been together ever since. They have been indoor kitties and are looking for fun and love in their new forever home. Fox and Goose love to play with each other, run through their kitty tunnels, and then settle down to groom each other. Goose is a very sweet, loving guy when it comes to people and gave kitty hugs to their previous guardian. He loves to play fetch with his ball (a wonderful talent!). Fox may take a bit of time to warm up, but she is absolutely worth the wait! Their previous guardian describes her as intuitive, brilliant, clever, and says she loves to talk! Together, these two kitties make quite the bonded pair and will bring an immeasurable amount of joy, activity, and companionship to their new home! Meet Skylar! We don't get many cats like Skylar--you have to meet her to understand how wonderful this cat is! She is very confident and affectionate. She wants to love you and wants to be loved (head bunts, lap time, and pets galore!). Skylar is super sweet, super affectionate, purrs right away, and enjoys giving kitty kisses--it doesn't get better than that. Philly Jenkins Rescue is a 501(c)(3) San Francisco-based Cat Rescue founded in 2024. It is dedicated to rescuing cats needing high-risk medical aid and helping cats facing euthanasia find loving homes. Philly Jenkins Rescue will provide a medical history; each adoption will include microchipping. All cats will undergo spaying or neutering before being placed in their new home. Cats that have not been spayed are available for pre-adoption. Several months later, Mom Cat gave birth to another litter in the resident’s backyard, prompting contact with our Founder prior to the establishment of Philly Jenkins Rescue. When the kittens reached an appropriate age, our Founder traveled to Central Valley to rescue. Four kittens were successfully rescued and have since been placed in forever homes. In January 2024, Mom Cat was rescued along with two of her kittens from her third litter as well as her mate, Mr. Jenkins, who our founder a rescued and adopted in January 2024. Learn more about the Jenkins Family in our other posts. About Mom Cat Mom Cat was extremely feral cat when rescued. Mom Cat does well with small breed dogs ( not yet introduced to large breeds). Mom Cat has experience with teens 14 and over. Prefers not to be picked up and inciates pets at her leisure. She enjoys quiet environments and would make a single house companion. Dislikes: No Environments with elevated noise levels or significant foot traffic. Mom Cat would benefit from an owner who possesses experience in managing timid cats or those that require a patient approach to acclimatize effectively. All medical documentation is provided with adoption. Health: Philly Jenkins Rescue has provided a comprehensive range of medical care for Mom Cat: Spaying, microchipping, flea treatment, and blood testing,FIV testing (yielding a negative result), deworming, dental examinations, parasitology testing and ear cleaning Home Requirements: The household does not include small children, operates as a single-cat environment, and is conducive to a calm atmosphere.
