Story
🧶Lucy is adorable, playful, sometimes shy, and very gentle—like a kitten in a sweet 5-year-old body. She’s been the love of our lives. She snuggles with her brother but is uncomfortable with our older cat, so she may do best as an only cat or in a home with people around more, a steady routine, or even a mostly-outdoor/unique setup. 🐈‍⬛ Her challenge is occasional peeing outside the litter box. The vet believes it’s behavioral—loneliness, late meals, or territorial stress. She has her own box for pee, cleaned daily, and uses it, mostly reliably. She’s had a couple mild UTIs that respond well to meds, sometimes with a spot of blood, but further tests are costly. (Less than 1x/ year) 🐾She & her brother Merlin are secure together. we’re open to rehoming them as a pair. We aren’t home as much now, and while she uses her box most of the time, it's hard to manage with us gone a lot. We adore her and hope she finds a home that fits her needs. Ideally someone who can cover vet bills.

Story
Cindy Lou is a young adult kitty with a gentle heart who has come a long way since her arrival. She was surrendered to us when a kind citizen found herself overwhelmed with too many cats. At first, Cindy Lou was unsure of what was happening and wasnâ&#194&#128&#194&#153 t interested in attentionâ&#194&#128&#194&#148but with time and patience, she has truly blossomed. Now, Cindy Lou loves affection and will happily thank you for ear rubs with sweet head bops and adorable nose boops. While we havenâ&#194&#128&#194&#153 t seen her play much yet, we expect her playful side to emerge once sheâ&#194&#128&#194&#153s fully settled into her new home and feeling safe and secure.Cindy Lou arrived with her friends Grinch, Stitch, and Princess. While she can be adopted on her own, it would be especially wonderful if any two of this group could find a home together.Cindy Lou is sure to be a loving, grateful addition to her future familyâ&#194&#128&#194&#148ready to return every kindness with gentle affection and quiet devotion.OTHER PETS: Cindy Lou would probably be happiest adopted with one of the kitties she once lived with. Another kitty friend is best.OWNER EXPERIENCE: Cindy Lou's adopter should have kitty experience.KIDS: Cindy Lou would be best suited for respectful older teens and up.ACTIVITY LEVEL: Cindy Lou is currently quite the couch potato.VETERINARY CARE: Cindy Lou is looking forward to meeting her new vet and is looking forward to receiving on-going regular vet care.LEVEL OF SOCIALIZATION: Cindy Lou's adopter must be patient as she learns to trust her new family.GROOMING: Cindy Lou takes good care of her black coat. Story
This sweet, silly long-haired calico arrived just in the nick of timeâ&#194&#128&#194&#148rescued before a winter snowstorm and ready to enjoy the cozy life she truly deserves. She has a playful, endearing side and plenty of calico character to keep you smiling. She prefers to be the queen of her castle and is happiest as your one-and-only pet. Other kitties just arenâ&#194&#128&#194&#153t her thing, but she more than makes up for it with her devotion to her people. An experienced, cat-savvy adopter is a must. This girl is confident about expressing her opinions and, on occasion, may communicate her displeasure in less-than-subtle ways. Someone who understands feline body language and respects her boundaries will find a loyal, entertaining companion with lots of personality. If youâ&#194&#128&#194&#153 re looking for a one-of-a-kind calico who knows exactly what she wantsâ&#194&#128&#194&#148and is ready to rule your homeâ&#194&#128&#194&#148she just might be your girl.OTHER PETS: Chloe has made it very clear she does not want to share her home with other animals.OWNER EXPERIENCE: Chloe's new family must have experience with kitties with strong opinions of things.KIDS: Chloe is best suited for a home with older, respectful teens and up.ACTIVITY LEVEL: Chloe plays gently here, we suspect once settled in her own home, she will be even more playful.VETERINARY CARE: Chloe is looking forward to meeting her new vet and receiving on-going regular vet care.LEVEL OF SOCIALIZATION: Chloe's success will deal greatly with her new family's ability to read her body language.GROOMING: Occasional brushing will help Chloe to keep her pretty coat matt free. Story
Garfield is a handsome, long-haired orange boy with a truly gorgeous coat and a quiet, thoughtful nature. He arrived with nine other well-loved kitties when his former human, through no fault of the cats, found herself overwhelmed. Garfield is healthy and has clearly been cared for.Garfield can be a bit stand-offish at first, but he allows handling and enjoys gentle pets once he feels safe.
