Toad is a ridiculously handsome fella who was adopted out as a kitten.  Unfortunately, circumstances in the home have changed dramatically and the felines the family adopted are back in our care.  Toad, ahem, clearly really liked his food as he returned to us at 20 pounds (19.94 pounds to be exact).  We are working with him to lose weight.  The family took the dear boy to the vet regularly, and we have a copy of his records.  The vet has monitored the right iris melanosis for years and indicate that it is benign.  Toad does get a bit overwhelmed in new environments, so we feel he'd do best in a quieter home.  He is a love, though, and enjoys laps.  Yep, a 20-pound lap cat.  He's neutered, vaccinated against rabies and distemper, and negative for both FIV and feline leukemia.  Toad is available for adoption for $50.   Please note that Toad is located in New Prague, MN. 1900+ adoptions and counting. . .Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 3, 2026, 6:32 pm

Meet Toby! Toby is a lovely 2 1/2 year old boy who is a love despite all that he has been through. He was an indoor/outdoor cat and has been found to have an auto immune disease that seems to flare seasonally due to allergies. He is now on authority skin and coat food and is no longer on Prednisolone. It is likely that he flared while getting into something while outside. Keeping him inside and loved will be the key. Fluffy was the name animal control had given him but he's been going by Benny since he's been in my care. He has quite a ways to go still before he could be considered adoptable. He is still having plenty of issues of working through aggression and is still very much a bite risk. He's had really great progress, and I continue to see him improve, but his nervous system is still working through a lot in remembering he's safe. I have no doubt he was physically abused.Fluffy has had a complete wellness exam, is microchipped, neutered, tested negative for Feline Leukemia/FIV, and is updated on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $400.00 which includes a free wellness exam within 7 days of adoption. Fluffy is currently located in a foster home. Payment is either cash or check. Sorry, we do not do any out-of-state adoptions. ADOPTING A PET IS A LIFELONG COMMITMENT!
