He enjoys running and chasing a feather stick. Along with swanky swagger, Winston includes fun and entertaining on his dynamic résumé.   Winston is not your typical cat. He’s a giant, powerful boy coming in at 16+ lbs. Think kitten behavior, in biiig boy body! His athleticism can be seen through his ability to make six foot jumps and sprint at fast speeds. His foster’s other cats are afraid of him and live separately. Winston likely has Norwegian Forest Cat in his genes due to many similarities between him and this large breed. He is a highly intelligent hunting cat.  Winston is gentle and affectionate with his humans. Even though he actively seeks out interaction and snuggles, Winston also likes to do his own thing, relax, and explore by himself. Winston would thrive in a home with someone who is understanding of cat cues/language so he can better communicate with his family about his boundaries. Solomon, who answers to Sully, is a timid and affectionate BIG boy with a soft heart, full of love!   Sully previously lived in a home with  cats but he was bullied by one of the cats and now has trust issues with his feline companions. He is able to coexist with other cats but he is more confident on his own with all people. Sully scares easily so no young children for him; older and cat friendly, calm children would be fine.   Sully had a lot of matted fur when he came back to rescue so he is now sporting a very cool lion’s cut. Sully loves to be brushed so his adopter would need to dedicate a few minutes a day to brush Sully’s fur as it grows back. He may need a shave periodically in the back so his poo doesn’t get caught up in his glorious fur. Sully loves to be brushed!    Sully loves chin pets, belly rubs, kisses and will give kisses as you pet him. He will wrap his paws around your arm and give you hugs and nuzzle in as close as he can. Sully allows you to pick him up to take him out of a hiding spot so he can get more love and know he is safe.   Once Sully feels safe, he enjoys playing with toys and laser pointers get him excited. Sully also enjoys his quiet time in the cat tree looking out the window and sunning himself.   The ideal home for Sully would be a quiet home with a person(s) to love him, brush him and be patient with him as he comes out of his shell. He is a laid back and quiet cat. Sully would prefer to be the only pet or a home with a cat who would ignore him and give him space. I got Chai from a farm in July of 2023. I’m unsure of her exact birthday but she is around 1 years old. She has had her first round of shots (due for her second) and was just spayed in March. She is very playful and the most affectionate cat I have ever had. She LOVES to snuggle and have her face rubbed. She does not scratch anything other than her cat tree (so your furniture is safe around her lol). She has lived with our chocolate lab since we got her and she does okay around him but is still a little scared around him so she would fit best with someone that does not own any dogs. She does good around my 1.5 year old daughter but is very playful so she occasionally scratches her unintentionally. She needs lots of attention and affection.

Miss Blueberry was sitting at a local impound when we found her.  She was so sweet and friendly just wanting human attention.  When she was evaluated by our vet team she tested positive for FeLV.  It is recommended she live as the only kitty in her new home or lives with other FeLV positive kitties.  To learn more about this social little girl please complete an applicaiton at www.aohrescue.org ##1782155##
