Meet Toulouse – An Adventurous Little Doll! Toulouse is a curious, playful sweetheart who loves to explore her surroundings, climb to new heights, and tumble around with her siblings. She’s not much of a talker — unless you open a can of wet food, then she suddenly has a lot to say! She gets along wonderfully with other cats and is still figuring out how she feels about dogs. If you’re looking for a snuggle buddy with a brave heart and a soft soul, Toulouse would be a purr-fect match. This little adventurer is ready to find her forever family — could it be yours? Hi, I'm Peanut! I've got an eye for adventure, literally.  I'm a bit of a shy guy at first, but once I warm up to you, we'll have a ball. I've got a curious mind, always wondering what's around the corner or behind that door. I love playtime, batting at toys, chasing after laser pointers, and leaping after feathers. Despite having only one eye, I don't let it slow me down. I'm just as agile and playful as any other cat. I may be a bit different, but I've got so much love to give.  I'm still young, still learning the ropes of life, and I'd love to explore the world with you. So, why adopt me? Well, if you're looking for a sweet, one-eyed, laser-chasing, fun-loving companion, look no further. I'm your cat! A little back story on me, I was found in a dumpster, scared and alone. I had an eye injury, that we are unsure how I got. My foster and rescue tried hard to save my eye, but in the end, it had to be removed. I feel SO much better!  I really need another cat in the home that wants to be friends. I am always looking for one or two of my feline friends to snuggle with when its nap time.  Age and breed are based on veterinarian and intake professional’s recommendation and not guaranteed as a rescue animal’s history is often unknown. All companion animals adopted by The Rescue Crew are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLK (cats) or heartworm (dogs), microchipped, dewormed and provided with monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives prior to adoption.  The Rescue Crew is a foster based rescue organization, meaning all of our adoptable pets are located in homes throughout Minnesota. This is the best way to show your interest in an animal and is not a binding contract. To learn more about our adoption process, please visit our Adoption Process page on our website at www.rescuecrew.org. Hi, I’m Dobby! I’m a soft, sensitive soul with a sweet nature and the most fabulous long-haired coat. I ended up in rescue through no fault of my own or my previous owner’s—they loved me very much and took wonderful care of me. I miss them, but I’m settling in and learning that love can come in new forms, too. I’m a gentle, well-mannered kitty who enjoys the quieter things in life: a cozy cat tree, a soft little hideaway, and a dish of tasty canned food (seriously, I love my canned food!). I’m not one to demand attention, but when you offer it, I’m happy to lean in and accept it with gratitude. I like to keep to myself sometimes, but I’m always nearby, just taking it all in. Most importantly, I come as a bonded pair with my brother, Toby. He’s my constant, my comfort, and my best friend and we truly thrive when we’re side by side. He’s a little braver than I am, and I love having him nearby to show me everything is okay. If you’re looking for a pair of calm, kind-hearted cats who will quietly fill your home with love and companionship, Toby and I would be honored to be your boys. Hi, I’m Toby I’m a quiet, gentle guy with a big heart and a calm soul. I was recently welcomed into rescue through no fault of my own—my previous family loved me very much and took great care of me. I miss them, but I’ve adjusted quickly to my foster home and am doing really well here. I live with kids and dogs, and honestly? None of it fazes me. I settled in after just a day or two, and now I’m thriving—eating like a champ, using my litter box perfectly, and enjoying the comfort of a cozy home. I’m not always the first to ask for attention, but if you come over to say hi, I’m all in. I love being near people and will happily soak up all the love you want to give. The most important thing you should know about me is that I come as a package deal with my brother, Dobby. We’re a bonded pair, and we’ve been through a lot together. He helps me feel safe, and I do the same for him. We’d really love to find a forever home where we can stay side by side. I’m easy to love and would do great in just about any home that offers kindness, patience, and a soft place to land. I hope that’s with you. Story
Reintroducing SIMBA! This stunning nine year old boy is 99% lover and 1% cranky neighbor who doesn’t want any fellow cats playing in his “yard.” Simba came to us over a year ago after being rescued from euthanasia. He was overweight, diabetic, matted, had skin and nail infections, diabetic neuropathy, and was in desperate need of a dental. After shaving off some pounds, treating his infections, a dental visit, and some loving attention, Simba has been restored to his former glorious self and is now ready for a long-term foster home as his current foster is relocating to another state.   Simba loves being brushed head to toe, chin rubs, and attention of any kind. He responds by drooling in joy and with a roaring purr. Belly rubs? No problem here – he’ll happily present his belly (and everything else) for an extended tummy tickle or a four paw nail trim. Talk about easy – if we didn’t know any better…we’d think he had professional groomer experience. He is adorably wobbly (uncertain of cause but could be residual diabetic neuropathy) so we have added a supplement to his food to try and boost his strength. To date, his weakened back end has gotten no better or worse and does not impede his “zoomies” after a good litter box visit! Another fun fact about wobbly cats? It means Simba is the polar opposite of a counter jumper! As a matter of fact, if he needs to get on anything higher than a couch...pet stairs do the trick. He will want a set by your bed as his favorite place to sleep is with you. Simba has been in diabetic remission for over a year and has not been on any insulin. We hope to keep him that way by controlling his diet and occasional glucose monitoring.   He comes with a lifetime commitment of litter, food, meds, and all the vet care needed for the rest of life. What he needs is a soft, loving place to fall, and a pet parent who will be patient getting him settled into new surroundings. His ideal home would be a quieter one. Maybe with someone who works from home (or no longer works) who has no other pets. He’s been waiting a long time for the right home and we are committed to providing everything a new foster needs. All you need to add is love (and twice a day feedings).   Who wants to meet this boy and discuss adding him to your family? LET'S MEET! Please email s.o.s.representative@gmail.com for an application to be Simba's long-term foster. Simba is available for meet and greets with pre-approved applicants!   ADOPTION INFORMATION: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriate), Feline Leukemia/FIV tested, de-parasited & micro-chipped before being adopted out. All applicants must meet our adoptable cats in person. We do not ship any of our animals to adopters. Thank you and please contact us with any questions. November 5, 2024, 4:07 pm
