Domestic Mediumhair kittens & cats in Delano, Minnesota

Location: Richfield Petsmart --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs over 9 months), FIV/FeLV test (cats - one in the litter), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Reintroducing SIMBA! This stunning nine year old boy is 99% lover and 1% cranky neighbor who doesn’t want any fellow cats playing in his “yard.” Simba came to us over a year ago after being rescued from euthanasia. He was overweight, diabetic, matted, had skin and nail infections, diabetic neuropathy, and was in desperate need of a dental. After shaving off some pounds, treating his infections, a dental visit, and some loving attention, Simba has been restored to his former glorious self and is now ready for a long-term foster home as his current foster is relocating to another state.   Simba loves being brushed head to toe, chin rubs, and attention of any kind. He responds by drooling in joy and with a roaring purr. Belly rubs? No problem here – he’ll happily present his belly (and everything else) for an extended tummy tickle or a four paw nail trim. Talk about easy – if we didn’t know any better…we’d think he had professional groomer experience. He is adorably wobbly (uncertain of cause but could be residual diabetic neuropathy) so we have added a supplement to his food to try and boost his strength. To date, his weakened back end has gotten no better or worse and does not impede his “zoomies” after a good litter box visit! Another fun fact about wobbly cats? It means Simba is the polar opposite of a counter jumper! As a matter of fact, if he needs to get on anything higher than a couch...pet stairs do the trick. He will want a set by your bed as his favorite place to sleep is with you. Simba has been in diabetic remission for over a year and has not been on any insulin. We hope to keep him that way by controlling his diet and occasional glucose monitoring.   He comes with a lifetime commitment of litter, food, meds, and all the vet care needed for the rest of life. What he needs is a soft, loving place to fall, and a pet parent who will be patient getting him settled into new surroundings. His ideal home would be a quieter one. Maybe with someone who works from home (or no longer works) who has no other pets. He’s been waiting a long time for the right home and we are committed to providing everything a new foster needs. All you need to add is love (and twice a day feedings).   Who wants to meet this boy and discuss adding him to your family? LET'S MEET! Please email s.o.s.representative@gmail.com for an application to be Simba's long-term foster. Simba is available for meet and greets with pre-approved applicants!   ADOPTION INFORMATION: All of our cats are spayed/neutered, vaccinated (age-appropriate), Feline Leukemia/FIV tested, de-parasited & micro-chipped before being adopted out. All applicants must meet our adoptable cats in person. We do not ship any of our animals to adopters. Thank you and please contact us with any questions. March 11, 2026, 12:47 pm

As an orange male, Ringo carries some of the typical qualities -- can be chatty, very strong opinioned, loves to eat, chooses when to snuggle! Estimated to be around 7.5 years old; We adopted him in 2019 from the Humane Society as a kitten and he's been loved and adored by teen boys. He's not a fan of dogs based on his experience with a very noisy elderly pup who was not a fan of cats. He loves to be in the sun. He can be playful. He's been 100% indoors or on a 3-season porch as his favorite perch. For a new home, we believe he would be best where he is the only pet. He has done well with teenage kids, not sure how he'd be with young kids. During a recent trial, we were hopeful how he would be with adjusting to other creatures in a home, but don't think it's best for him or new family. He will come with medical records, food, carrier, litter box, bed and any other supplies that are his! He is healthy and up to date on his vet visits (last one was Spring 2026).

Meet Bindy! Bindy is cautious to be too social right off the bat with new people, but he is the sweetest boy once he warms up to you. He loves being pet and playing with toys, but will also enjoy time to himself just relaxing in the cat tower. He loves our resident dog and often cuddles up with her in the dog bed. He would do well with someone who will give him time and space to warm up to a new environment.
