Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Hi, my name is Sparkles, Female - spayedDomestic Short HairApprox. 9 years oldI am on the lookout for my forever home. I was surrendered into care a while back, and at first, I must admit, I was quite shy and nervous. I also had some medical needs that needed addressing upon my arrival. But worry not! Those needs have been taken care of, and now I'm feeling like a brand-new woman, ready to embark on the next chapter of my life.To help me adjust to life outside the shelter and aid in my recovery, I was placed in a loving foster home. This has been a wonderful experience for me, allowing me to settle in and relax. I'm a simple lady at heart, with a love for snuggles and snoozing my days away, especially as I embrace my golden years.Don't let my laid-back demeanor fool you, though! I have a playful side and adore being a snuggle bug. I'm always ready for some affectionate playtime whenever you are.I get along well with other cats and truly enjoy their company. However, if it's just you and me, I'm perfectly content with that too. I promise to be a loyal companion, bringing warmth and joy to your home. Story
Hello! I'm Nala, Female - spayedDomestic Medium HairApprox. 7 years oldI'm the perfect blend of independence and sweetness. While I enjoy the occasional company of humans, I thrive in environments that allow me to explore and make my own choices. You'll often find me seeking out cozy spots to observe the world around me.Despite my independent nature, I am gentle and affectionate. I express my sweetness in subtle gestures, like rubbing against you or curling up nearby, letting you know I'm there and I care. However, I am not one to be manipulated. I dislike being forced into situations and value interactions that respect my freedom and autonomy.I am a delightful companion for those who appreciate a cat with a mind of her own. If you're looking for a friend who respects your independence as much as her own, then I'm the perfect match for you. Story
Sven is a charming, independent cat who knows exactly what he likes - and he likes his affection in small, respectful doses. He enjoys having his own space and would do best with someone who understands and appreciates a cat that sets clear boundaries. While Sven may not be a constant lap cat, he shows his affection in quieter, meaningful ways and enjoys companionship on his own terms. He'd thrive in a calm home where his independence is valued and his personality can truly shine. If you're looking for a low-key feline friend who offers gentle moments of connection and plenty of character, Sven could be the perfect match. 🐱 Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 7.6 Age: 3yrs 0mths 1wks

Story
DOB: 05-23-2019 Poppyseed is like a hidden gem—her affectionate nature won’t be evident immediately, but, with time, you will discover she has a loving personality that is truly precious. Poppyseed has been through a number of stressful transitions in her life: homelessness, being in a municipal animal control centre, and then in temporary foster homes. The changes have been difficult and unsettling for her, and she will need time and patience to feel safe and comfortable in her new home. Once Poppyseed has earned your trust, you will be rewarded with the most delightful cat companion. Her current foster family has provided a comforting environment for Poppyseed and describes her endearing personality: “Poppyseed is an extremely sweet little friend that makes her affection towards you well known. She gets excited when you wake up, will meow at you, and settle onto her rightful place on your chest. Sometimes, she'll rub her head on your face and give you a face full of fur! She likes to give kisses followed by a few nibbles.  “Poppyseed is a highly confident cat that enjoys human company and knows no strangers. She will see someone new and happily go to check out if their lap is a good place to sit. She is not overly demanding and is also comfortable spending time alone. “Poppyseed loves to sleep draped across your lap like a scarf or just comfortably lounging on you. She'll occasionally tilt her head back to look at you with her big yellow eyes. She loves to be in close contact with her people.” Poppyseed's ideal family will be experienced cat owners that will be mindful of her quirks and allow her to set the pace of the interactions until she is comfortable.  A bit of understanding and patience will lay the foundation for a strong and trusting bond. Adoption applications are available at http://www.forgottenones.ca/adoptions/. Please email the completed form to contact@forgottenones.ca. Adoption fees are $250.00 for adult cats (one year and older), $300.00 for kittens, and $175.00 for senior cats (10+ years old). The fee includes: veterinary health check, spay/neuter surgery, microchip, testing for Feline Leukemia and FIV, vaccinations, flea and ear mite treatments NOTE: Young kittens may not have had their spay/neuter surgery and final vaccinations at the time of their bio posting, but they are included in the adoption fee.  September 16, 2025, 1:40 pm
