Story
Meet Betty Boop, this social butterfly will greet you at the door. She’s very curious and can adapt to any new environment quickly. She doesn’t like to be over stimulated and this can cause her to nip alittle bit. Small children is not ideal and she doesn’t mind being around small and calm dogs. Besides this, Betty Boop is very sweet and will demand pets on her own terms.

Story
DOB: March 2021Meet Major Tom:  Timid Major Tom, rescued with his sister Zipetty and their mom Truffles, has learned to trust. If approached slowly, he’ll permit you to pet him, particularly when catnip toys and food are involved. What he loves though is chasing springs, laser dots and his fellow felines, then gazing out the window at the birds. Now, for him to thrive, he needs a tranquil and patient home, with a friend or with a confident kitty already there. If this is your home, click on Adopt. If you would like to sponsor and support Major Tom while safe in the shelter, click Sponsor!              &#226&#128&#139September 16, 2024, 6:09 am

Story
Microchipped, DOB October 17, 2015 Mitch likes to sleep on cushions, old jackets, and clothing. He is a very observant cat and will sometimes just watch both humans and cats with such intensity and curiosity, as though he is a scientist studying them. Mitch is a very cautious cat. He requires some time in his new home before his trust in his human friends will develop. It took his foster parent nearly 6 weeks to get Mitch to trust them enough to pet him gently by his ears. He is best suited for environments that are not stressful - meaning no dogs (cats are ok) and no being chased by young children. He is also not a very adventurous cat and needs to be in a relaxed environment where he can have the freedom to become comfortable at his own pace. He would also be suitable for a working couple or single person as he is not very demanding of his humans' time. He prefers sitting and watching TV and looking out the window, but he will also have his bursts of energy and moments of playfulness. Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated, vs. our standard adult cat adoption fee of $200. Mitch has tested positive for FIV (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus). FIV+ cats can live long happy lives with a good diet, low stress, indoor homes, loving families, and annual vet check-ins. They don't require medication and can live in a home with other non-FIV+ cats, as the virus is only passed to other cats by blood (i.e. deep bite marks) and can't be passed to dogs or humans. Please don't judge them based on a blood test!
