Story
Sparkle ~2 yrs Sparkle was rescued from a large colony in early May 2023. She was quite scared but immediately accepted pets, and when she realized how good they felt, she would roll over and offer her belly. She has a wonderful purr! She loves to have her naps curled up in her cat tree nook. She also loves to sit in her window and bird watch. Sparkle is learning to play and is gaining confidence with every day. She is a super sweet girl who enjoys talking to her human and really appreciated her evening belly rubs. She would love to settle into her happy ever after home. Sparkle and Shimmer have been friends, might even be family, and would love to find a home together if possible. Sparkle has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. She tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If Sparkle pulls at your heartstrings, please contact us. You can find our adoption process and application on our website.

Story
Meow Meow is a domestic medium hair female who is approximately four years old. Meet the delightful Meow Meow, a cat who is all heart. This adult feline exudes a sweetness that's hard to resist, and her friendly nature is sure to win you over. While she can be a bit shy at first, Meow Meow's bravery shines through as she slowly steps out of her comfort zone to explore her surroundings. She dreams of a home where she can be the star, free from other pets, and bask in the undivided attention of her loving family. Meow Meow is visually impaired. We are unsure of how much vision she has, but her vet has said she is not in any pain and does not require any intervention. Her impaired vision contributes to her timid nature as she shows signs of being confused when people approach her and she is surprised without time to adjust. Meow Meow's perfect family will allow her the time to adjust to her new surroundings and reassure her when needed. Adopt Meow Meow and let her fill your life with joy, companionship, and endless purrs. Her unique personality and desire to be loved make her the perfect family pet. When Wow Meow is feeling comfortable with her surroundings she is a sucker for all the pets and cuddles, she loves to sleep right beside you! While she cuddles beside you she is a big fan of the head and bum scratches. She also loves to play with toys that make lots of sound, that way she knows exactly where to pounce! Meow Meow would do best with a family that doesn't have any other animals. Although she loves humans and the affection we provide, she has no interest in sharing that affection and is scared of other animals and their movements. Meow Meow is spayed, microchipped and is fully vaccinated for FVRCP and rabies. She is FIV negative and FeLV negative. Adoption fee is $300. To apply, please submit an adoption application.

Story
Meet Ginger (~ 2 years old, female, short haired calico) & Apricot (~ 3 years old, female, long haired dilute calico)! This bonded pair were abandoned and taken in by a kind individual who could not keep them due to health issues. These sweet girls are gentle souls. Apricot is very outgoing and very cuddly once she gets to know you. Ginger is friendly but a little shier. Ginger is a bit of a couch potato while Apricot is more inquisitive and likes to climb. They have adjusted well in their foster home with a large dog and were fine with the other cats in the home that rescued them. Apricot & Ginger would do best in a more mature home and will make great companions for the right family! Ginger and Apricot came to us already spayed. We have brought vaccines up to date and both tested negative for FIV/FELV. If you have room in your heart & your home for Ginger & Apricot, contact us here or email heartstohomesfelines@gmail.com. The adoption fee is $400 for the pair.

Story
River came to us with his Mom and siblings March 14, 2023 from a small rescue that was overwhelmed. This little family went to a foster home to allow the best outcome possible for them. River is a sweet cuddly kitten, playful and adventurous. He loves his treats and wet food. He is very social.River developed a condition called FIP (Feline Infectious Peritonitis). This condition creates fluid in the abdomen and is fatal to cats. Luckily River was enrolled in the FIP study program and went through 84 days receiving daily GS pills and then 90 days receiving Mefloquine pills. We are thrilled to say that River survived his FIP diagnosis and is now a "FIP Survivor". The FIP treatment cost approximately $3,000.00. While River is cured now, he may or may not relapse but he is doing great so far. It is for this reason that we require a very strong vet relationship with a healthy cushion for vet related expenses. For more information about River and his success story, please contact the shelter at 519 833 2287 or by email at info@uppercredit.com.
