Story
Meet Millie! When in a calm environment, Millie is the perfect companion to keep you company while you work or to snuggle next to you for a quiet evening. She enjoys being looked at lovingly, stealing a lick of milk from a mostly empty cereal bowl, and sitting in a sunny window. Unfortunately, she has low tolerance for dogs and children (which is why she is in need of a new home), but thrives off of a quiet and predictable routine. We adopted Millie 7 years ago and just want to improve her quality of life with a home that fits her needs.

DOB 3/15/24 Cheddar is a sweet, shy guy. Give him a little time and he will be your best friend, with the exception of his brother Cojack, who is his BFF. These two are a bonded pair, double the love, double the fun. He still hides from loud noises and fast movements, but he is still very young and will get over this with slow, loving care and affection. -$125 adoption fee per kitten. DOB 3/15/24 Meet Cojack. He's a sweet guy that is ready to find a forever home with his brother Cheddar. They love to play, wrestle, and sleep together. DOB 4/1/24 Meet Seqouia! This adorable little boy was found living with his littermates in an abandoned, burned-out RV. Sequoia is a friendly, playful kitten who needs to be adopted into a home with another young cat. Sequoia will seek you out, looking for attention, and can turn practically anything into a super fun toy. Are you ready to add some laughter, joy, and kitten snuggles to your life? Ask to meet this sweetie today! We do require kittens to be adopted to a family with another young cats - it's just the best think for the kitty. We do have young adults that are fine being an only pet. Please read below. Adoption fee $100 for adult ( over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). adoption fee. All cats coming into your care will be delivered altered (spayed/neutered), tested for Fiv/FELV, microchipped, have received age appropriate vaccines, treated for fleas and worms. We are not first come, first serve. We try to match our kitties with the purrfect home. Silverton Cat Rescue is a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. We are an all volunteer organization. All our kitties are in foster care. We ask that you be patient with us as we connect you to the foster to set up a meet and greet. Most of our kittens are placed in bonded pairs. One of the most important ways we can support the behavioral and emotional development of a kitten is to make sure they’ve got a friend. Despite the common belief that cats are solitary animals, they’re actually incredibly social beings who thrive when they have feline friends from an early age. That’s why the cat experts always recommend adopting two kittens, or adopting a solo.

Story
DOB 5/4/24 Furby is a medium haired kitten and he is very bonded with his buddy Mouse, so they will be adopted together. Furby is the most loving. Sometimes he just sits near you, staring at your face, waiting for you to pick him up and give him kisses and cuddles. He the first one on your lap. Mouse on the other hand is very adventurous and doesn’t slow down because he’s too busy checking out any new thing he spotted in the area. He is also very sweet and loves to be hugged, petted and loved on but he doesn’t stay with you long because he’s way too busy. They love playing with each other. They’re both fine with my three little dogs, but understandably are a little bit intimidated by the big dogs. Needless to say I do not let them around the big dogs because they are over boisterous and clumsy and afraid they’ll get hurt. PLEASE READ: Adoption fee $100 for adult ( over 12 months old) and $125 for kitten (under 12 months old). It may come as a surprise to hear this, but two kittens are actually half the work of one! Giving your kitten a buddy will improve the lives of the cats while also making your life easier.
