Story
I rescued Henry at five weeks old. He is a loving cat, but doesn’t get along with my senior cat and is going crazy in my little apartment. He has lots of energy and spunk. He would thrive in a larger home with no other pets or children. While Henry is very loving, he can be touch sensitive and get mouthy if it’s not on his terms. Henry is a typical young cat with lots of energy to play and goof around. He loves climbing too! He loves to cuddle up on your lap or in bed at night, and he has the loudest purr so you’ll know when he’s happy! Henry has a neuter appointment on February 4th that I will pay for!

Story
Sunkist is a very loving and sweet boy. He starts off a little shy and needs an owner who will be patient with him and earn his trust. Once you have he is the sweetest guy! He has big feet and his foster thinks he will be the biggest orange fluff when he is done growing! He really likes other cats as well and would be a happy submissive buddy to anyone's resident cat. Let this ray of sunshine into your life! All adoptions start with an adoption application. The link can be found on his pet profile on AdoptAPet.com.

Story
Need something new in your life to brighten up the short and dreary winter days? May we suggest this charming and handsome pair of feline buddies? Nick and Norman are brothers, or maybe cousins—they came to us as part of a large extended family including multiple moms and aunties, so we aren’t sure of their exact relationship, but they have always been together and the bromance is serious. Norman has excellent social skills in addition to his stunning swirly orange coat. He has never met a person, cat, or dog he doesn’t like. Actually, Norman has only met one dog (that we know of) and that’s the respectful, mellow dog at his foster home. He likes to get up close and personal with his people—he is literally an in-your-face kind of guy. Nick is more reserved, but watches and learns from Norman, and is very affectionate once he knows nobody is going to manhandle him without permission. He has a very lush tabby coat with white trim, and an absolute plume of a tail. This duo love playing with all kinds of toys, including lots of “rassle and chase” games. When their batteries run down, they appreciate a window perch with a nice view of the interesting activities going on outdoors, where they can rest and recharge. Nick and Norman are about nine months old. They have been neutered and microchipped, they tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and are up to date on vaccines. The adoption fee is $150 for a pair. If you are interested in meeting Nick and Norman, please fill out the adoption interest form at our website (www.pdx-petadoption.org) and our adoption coordinator will respond promptly. Please note that we place cats in the following counties only: Multnomah, Washington, Clackamas and Clark. Animal Rescue & Care Fund is a small rescue organization. We rescue homeless animals only, and do not accept owner-surrendered pets. All our animals live with volunteers in their homes until they are matched with the right permanent family. Thank you for considering one of our pets for adoption.

Story
**Playful - Cuddly - Boisterous** Downhill Racer is a kitten who is in touch with his feelings. He communicates well to humans and his kitten siblings alike when he is not feeling well, or wants to go somewhere else. He's slightly more sensitive than his siblings, but as the smallest in his litter, he has learned to hold his own! He often uses his lightweight frame to his advantage with a well timed jump from above, or to be first in the races around the room. He loves to play with a string toy, or an errant spring toy, but, in time he will be a great lap cat. He's still pretty busy, but at the end of the day he thinks a warm lap is a great place to take a nap. He is very playful, and would do well in a house with another kitten or playful cat. (RG 02/26) Downhill Racer's adoption fee is $AMT. For more information on Cat Adoption Team's pricing and policies, visit catadoptionteam.org.HOW TO MEET ME: This kitty is currently in a foster home.
