Story
Burnt Brownie is named because he was originally brown when he came home, but his fur became black with time. So he's a burnt brownie! He came from an animal shelter and is currently 1 year 2 months old. I am looking for a loving family for him who will be able to give him all the undivided attention and cuddles, as my health currently prevents me from giving him the care that I feel he deserves. He is very attention motivated; he will do absolutely anything for pets and cuddles. He gets along well with other cats and ADORES people (especially those who pets him!!). If you are looking for an affectionate, playful, cuddly lap cat who will follow you around the house, he is the one. Other things about Brownie: He is very playful and does get the night zoomies. He likes to chew on cardboard. He does well at the vet if the vet will pet him lots. He's very chirpy and talkative. He gets lonely easily!!! Please give him lots of love.

Story
We adopted Josie from Humane Society of Tacoma to be a companion to our other young kitten but instead they fight as Josie just wants to be the only cat in the house. Josie is an ideal cat for a single pet household. She will give you all the love and companionship. She’s good with kids. She’s about 4 years old fixed female who is an indoor cat but likes to sit outside on the patio watching birds. She likes eating grass and lettuce. She is a lap cat who enjoys hair brushing and patting on her head. She’s s littler box trained. She’s ready for a new loving home. She’s beautiful with her soft and fluffy hair. She likes to sleep and sit on her back as if she is queen of the house. I am very sad to let her go but at the same time, my heart is broken to see my other cat wondering outside. I don’t charge any adoption fee. Infact I will provide her with her things that she uses plus the kind of food she likes. I just want her to be happy with her new family.

Hello! My name is Nick Carter. I am a ‘working cat' which means that I may not be suited for the life of a house cat, but I would love to have a job in exchange for care, food, and shelter. Adoption fees are waived for working cats like me! Do you need help with rodent control at your house, barn, garden, warehouse, or garage? Working cats are dependable, effective, and utterly cute workers! Working cats can be an eco-friendly, humane alternative to pest management. Working cats are premier rodent managers! Although not suited for housecat life, if you keep a working cat happy and healthy, they may become more affectionate over time. These cats need food, water, protection from the elements, and long-term care. You can come by the shelter or email frontdesk@auburnvalleyhs.org for more information about adopting a working cat.

Story
Solomon is a male neutered domestic medium hair. He’s currently 4, DOB is possibly 05/25/2020. He’s a very sweet and playful cat. He does well with other cats, kids, and dogs (if they tolerate cats). He likes toys that have bells or make crinkling noises. He also likes to climb and watch birds from the window. He is free fed and very treat motivated, loves pill pockets. He doesn’t like water so unfortunately baths are out of the question, but he will tolerate professional grooming with gabapentin or waterless shampoo. He only drinks water from a cat fountain which I can provide upon adoption. He loves to sit on your lap and follow you around. In the morning when he knows you’re awake he’ll follow you to the bathroom and hang out with you. I’m rehoming him because his needs aren’t being met living with me. He needs an experienced owner with other cats his age who can play with him.
