Story
Meet Miss Mia. This stunningly gorgeous girl came to our rescue when her lifelong guardian passed away. Mis is a sweet and gentle girl. and she is aching for a new lap to call her own. Mia is a bit on the quiet side but still loves to play — and cozy cuddle time on the couch while snuggled in blankets is her favorite thing. Mia has tested positive for FIV. Reseach shows that FIV cats can live as long and healthy a life as non-infected cats, though they may have a weakened immune system making viruses and infections easier to catch and harder to fight off. Overall they have the same needs as any other cat: high quality nutrition, a clean, stress-free, strictly indoor environment, regular veterinary visits, and lots of love. Please note that our cat adoptions also require indoor-only care. To Haven, indoor-only means the cat is not left unattended or free-roaming outside.Kitten adoptions require all children in the home to be over five years old.The first step in our adoption process is to fill out the interested party application for cats here.https://service.sheltermanager.com/asmservice?account=haven&method=online_form_html&formid=37The first step in our adoption process is to fill out one of our cat or dog applications listed below (you may need to copy and paste). Story
Chewy is a Domestic Longhair who is very sweet and loving cat! He can be very food motivated and loves his catnip! He is 3 years old born on Feb. 10th and loves to be high up above ground a lot of the time or snuggled under his cat tree. (He likes to play hide n seek occasionally). Although I’ve gotten both cats on a “night time” sleep schedule they sometimes love to play with their toys for about 30 mins to an hour before calling it a night! Kleon is a Tabby and he’s the chatter box among the two!! He will be two years old this upcoming Aug. & he loves to snuggle in bed or on my chest most of the days that I am home! Due to the fact that he knows what he wants, he will definitely let it be known. I did not know I could speak cat until I met him as a baby (just a few weeks old). He is the sweetest / funniest cat you’ll ever meet and needs the affection of a loving family/person because let’s face it Leo’s need ALOT of affirmation and love! lol All in all they are the best!

Story
Our 6 year old cat Dude is needing a new home! We purchased him off of craigslist and he was advertised as a Maine Coon but we never verified. My oldest son wanted a cat when he was 11 years old. He is graduating this year and off to college and our family is separating houses (divorce) . I have returned to the workforce and do not have extra time in my schedule to care for our cat and we are hoping to find a loving home for him so our new college student will feel rest assured that his friend is taken care of, we did not come to this decision lightly. He is a great cat, but needs someone skilled to train him in not scratching furniture. We would take him to the vet before adoption and would provide any records.

Story
Mochi is a 2 year old spayed female cat who I have had since bottle feeding. Unfortunately moving has not been ideal for her as she needs plenty of enrichment which I can not provide at this time. She is a curious cat and loves affection, snacks and running around the house playing. I would love for her to go to a home that can give her the space and attention she deserves. She's a great cat and does really well with my dog. She has also lived with an older cat and has done well with her too!

Story
Maude is a very affectionate 12 year old indoor-only cat who has lived with me, mostly on my lap, for most of her life. I am moving to a retirement home that doesn’t allow cats and need to find a good home for my sweet Maude. She has been around dogs, cats and kids but prefers to be an only cat. She likes nothing better than to spend the day curled up with me while I read or stretched out in the sunshine. She is very healthy and has never had any medical problems. I’m so saddened to have to part company with her!
