Story
Penelope and Sakura are the most adorable Mom and daughter pair. Sakura is a sweet, adorable, brave kitten who loves to play and then crash on the couch cuddled up to her human or mama. She loves to run around, climb, and explore new spaces and toys (especially a ribbon or spring!). She’s very friendly and outgoing. Penelope is just about 2 years also so still somewhat a kitten herself. She loves exploring new spaces, being up high, and sniffing new smells! She is also very social and enjoys attention from her humans. She’s very gentle and vocal - she will trill while roaming the house and meow to get your attention. She likes to play with her ribbon toy, cuddle, and look out the window. Sakura and her mama Penelope are very close and are looking for a home together.Pets are complex beings and prior to adoption, interested adopters will be counseled by a staff member to discuss the specific needs for each animal. Good with cats, Needs special attention, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Meet Our Sweet Special‑Needs Boy This gentle, affectionate boy gets along wonderfully with other cats and has a calm, easygoing nature that makes him a joy to be around. He’s fully mobile and loves exploring, but he does have neurological weakness and muscle atrophy in his back legs, which means he moves a little differently and can’t jump the way most cats do. He’s currently comfortable, stable, and able to get around on his own. Veterinary imaging shows changes in his lower spine that may be related to lumbosacral disease, which can progress over time. While he has no urinary or fecal incontinence at this time, adopters should be prepared for the possibility of future mobility changes or medical needs. Long‑term monitoring and ongoing veterinary care will be important to keep him feeling his best. Despite his challenges, he is a loving, resilient cat who just wants a safe home, soft places to rest, and people who appreciate his gentle spirit. He will thrive with someone who can offer patience, stability, and a willingness to support his special needs.

Story
Tilly is a special girl with a special gait. She was found with a severe fever and developed significant wobbliness shortly after being rescued. She has drastically improved with antibiotic therapy, but the cause of her wobbles is still unknown. She is able to walk, climb, and run, but she may remain a little wobbly for the rest of her life. At this time, we do not expect any additional complications secondary to her condition.
