Story
Hi, my name is Ninja and I would love to meet you. I have been at the shelter since Jan 20, 2023. If you are looking for the purr-fect roommate, you`ve found your cat! I want to be your best friend, but I also want to have my own space when I need it, just like any good roommate would. A loving partnership is what I`m looking for, and I`d love it if that was with you!

Story
Needing to rehome sweet Scarlet, seven years old, because my standard poodle stresses out her shy personality and I’m moving to a smaller space. She would do very well in a home without other pets or children, as she prefers solitary time. Scarlet is very healthy, just around nine pounds, and has lovely soft fur.

Story
Hades the cat was rescued by my former roommate a little over a year ago. He was taped inside a box and left inside a dumpster to die. My roommate rescued him and gave him a loving home for around a year. My roommate then decided to move out, and disappeared when she was most of the way through moving, leaving many of her things including Hades the cat. There have been repeated attempts to contact the old roommate, with no replies. It was a little over two months ago when the roommate was moving out, and I have been taking care of Hades when he chooses to come by since then (he is an inside/outside cat). I already have two other cats and am unable to support a third one, so I am looking for a new, loving home for Hades. He is a very friendly, communicative, and loving cat who enjoys cuddling. He is a fluffy, large cat who reminds me of a teddy bear. Please reach out if you are interested in being Hades' new cat parent!

Stray kitty, has been coming around for 6 months, during cold weather we let her in to stay warm, she pretty much sleeps on a blanket on a patio chair in the house, very friendly, uses litter box. Very sweet kitty. We are just not able to keep a kitty full time.

I also have another Female cat that needs a home too. She is a Lynx point just a little older than Theo. I love them and it would be great if they could stay together.

Story
Tuxedo and Luna are brother and sister, 3 years old, they were born in a barn and at first were a little on edge about humans. Since they've been fixed they've calmed down and adapted to indoor life. They do not like to go outside so they have always been strictly indoors. We have great recommendations for a kitty litter that has zero smell, we know it works since our apartment is less than 1,000 sq. ft. They've had their initial shots all the main vaccines and we do have paperwork to show what and when. We think it is important for them to stay together, they play and cuddle together. They are not super affectionate, they're very much cats, independant and lounge around all day. We are moving accross country and unfortunatly we are unable to bring them with us.

Story
Miss Kitty is a small, very sweet, very senior companion who was adopted as a stray about 16 years ago. She belonged to my 90-year-old uncle who has dementia and just moved into an adult family home, and he couldn't take the cat with him. Miss Kitty appears to be in good health, although she's quite thin. Towards the end, her owner was offering her things to eat such as coffee grounds, popcorn, and potatoes. Very sad. She's been well loved over the years, but we don't really know her medical history. We brought her into our home with 3 other cats, and things are NOT going well. Miss Kitty, once docile, has been leaping from furniture to attack our cats as they walk by. Now all our cats are on edge with each other. We think Miss Kitty needs to be an only-pet while she lives out the rest of her years. We cannot keep her!
