Hi, I’m a sweet, chatty tortie with a constant purr and a lot to say. I love keeping you company—sitting with you, not on you—while we talk about our day. If you chat with me and offer the occasional pet, I’ll happily purr for hours. I do enjoy my privacy too; alone time is part of my charm. I’m happiest in a calm, quiet home where I can be the only pet. I prefer a peaceful space with no loud chaos unless I have a cozy hideaway. I like the idea of going outside, but most days I choose my warm blanket and heating pad instead. I’m healthy, a little plush (working on it), and such a good girl that my groomer loves me—I get shaved for allergy reasons and behave like a professional. I enjoy all kinds of toys and would love a human who can spend quiet evenings with me. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate companion with classic tortie personality, I might be your girl.

Meet beautiful, but shy 4-year-old Miss Matilda. This gentle long hair tabby mix is as gorgeous as she is gentle. Matilda is super shy and is need of a calm and patient home to let her settle in and get comfortable. Matilda would benefit from a foster if you’re not sure you’re ready to adopt. Matilda is spayed and vaccinated and has such a sweet temperament. She is just super shy, hides a lot and sometimes gets bullied by her other females foster mates. Even though Matilda needs socialization work, she will reward you with love and gratitude and make you smile. Matilda needs you!!
