Story
Hello! My name is Sebastian. I am a ‘working cat’ which means that I may not be suited for the life of a house cat, but I would love to have a job in exchange for care, food, and shelter. Adoption fees are waived for working cats like me! Do you need help with rodent control at your house, barn, garden, warehouse, or garage? Working cats are dependable, effective, and utterly cute workers! Working cats can be an eco-friendly, humane alternative to pest management. Working cats are premier rodent managers! Although not suited for housecat life, if you keep a working cat happy and healthy, they may become more affectionate over time. These cats need food, water, protection from the elements, and long-term care. You can come by the shelter or email frontdesk@auburnvalleyhs.org for more information about adopting a working cat.

Story
Minnie is about a two year old stray that has had kittens, they've have all been rehoused. She gets along fine with other pets after a period of introduction. She's super shy around new people but warms up to them after about a day or two. She's really friendly and has separation anxiety. She is food motivated and likes to play with toys. Playing with other cats usually involves stalking, ambushing, and chasing behavior. She has a history of peeing on beds and furniture despite having several litter boxes to choose from. Her eyes change from orange to green apparently at random. Do not pet her belly, it's a trap.

Story
Edmund is 2 years old neutered male. He needs a new home where he can have lots of attention and even better if there is another cat to play with. Edmund is a very loving boy, he loves nothing more than to find a soft blanket to lay under or a warm lap to curl up and purr on. Unfortunately I have a pretty intense schedule with work and school leaving me gone for over 12 hours a day. Edmund does have pretty intense anxiety and would thrive in a calm loving environment

Story
Hi! My name is Milka and I am available for adoption!I probably haven`t had too much human interaction before arriving at RASKC so I am looking for a cat savvy family that understands that I am a work in progress.Because of my shy nature, I would do best in a calm, quiet home without younger children. When I go to my new home it is important to be patient with me and allow me time to acclimate to my new environment at my own speed. It is best to keep me in a smaller, quiet room, with my food, bed, and litterbox until I am comfortable and confident enough to start exploring the rest of my home.I am a sweet kitten who may need extra time and attention to warm up to new situations and new people. When I was a wee little one, I was not taught how nice and friendly people can be, but I am learning quickly! Though I may be timid at first, once you take the time to show me I can trust you I will show you just how wonderful I can be.You can visit me at the Pet Adoption Center on weekdays from 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Saturdays and Sundays from 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Pet Adoption Center is located at 21615 64th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.Come and visit me today, I`d love to go home with you!
