Story
Dova was born July 14th and was the first kitten to be delivered. She is currently 9 months old and is very cuddly, friendly, and warms up quickly to new people. She is VERY cuddly and sweet with the other cats she lives with and does really well with my younger siblings (ranging from 3-12 years old). She has no experience around dogs but is a very friendly kitty. She has received all of her shots and dewormer and is flea free, however has not been neutered.

Story
Loki is a little bit of a special boy. This guys is currently living in a wonderful foster home with his sisters. Loki is special needs as he does have some reduced vision. We feel he needs to go to his new home with his sister Helena as she seems to help him navigate around a little better. The eye specialist believes his eye issue as a congential issue and that he has had it from birth. They don't feel that long term her will require any more medical care for the issues. If you are interested in meeting Loki and Helena please don't heistate to email adoption@columbiahumane.org in order to obtain and adoption application. For more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgApril 18, 2024, 7:13 am

Story
I am quite the traveler! When we lost our home in Florida during Hurrican Ian, we came to the PNW to find a new place to call home. However, recovering from the financial loss has been tough on my mom and we've been staying with her friends. We're grateful for a roof over us but I've been cooped up in one bedroom for way too long because the resident cat is very hostile to me! Mom figured I'd be better in a home of my own, especially since I've been Feline Leukemia (FeLV) positive since I was born. It was thought, I had shed the virus but I guess not. That means I need to be your only kitty or I could live with another kitty that has FeLV if they want company! I'm a very sweet girl and have a few tricks I like to try. I like to try to get the top off the treat jar with my paws. When I think it's time to get mom up, I try to nip her nose to tell her it's time to wake up. I also try to straighten her hair by pulling at the crown. I loved my prior housemates. Jody, 90 lb German Shepherd and Domino, the 14-year-old male cat. It takes me a little time to feel secure and warm up but I've gotten so much better since traveling by car from Florida and being confined for the past couple of months! If you have room in your heart for a sweet girl and no other cats, or one like me, fill out at application and let's meet to see what we think of each other! You won't be sorry!April 19, 2024, 2:49 pm

Story
Hi my name is Onyx - and have I got a story to tell! You see, my original humans just up and left me behind (not cool!) Fortunately, I found my way to this house and this nice lady took me in. I was a bit scared, but she taught me that not all humans are mean - I have grown so comfortable in my new digs that I have really come into my own. There is another cat in the house, and we co-exist, but I would really like to have people of my own. I do ok with older kids. Those little ones can be a bit noisy for me - and lets forget those slobbery dog things! My new human mom says that I am a real love bug. When I am getting petted, I tend to gently grab her hand so that I can get more. I am current on my vaccines, microchipped and very good with the litter box.April 19, 2024, 2:49 pm

Story
Yeti (m) and Yoda (f), bonded brother-sister pair, were semi feral before coming here. They are now timid with strangers but once they get used to you, they are now super easy going, playful, and outgoing! Yeti loves attacking hands (we're working on that) and Yoda chips and drops to the floor in front of me, rolling on her back for attention. Both are long-hair and will likely need daily brushing. These kitties would do best in a home without kids. To meet these sweethearts fill out an application at Furryfriendswa.org Please share. ##1839171##
