Story
My adoption fee is $0 Here's what you need to know about me:I'm a barn cat. I'm a working cat looking for a job to do outdoors. I came from a situation where there were a lot of cats and not many resources. I got used to living with cats, but I'm not comfortable with people. I'll come close to get food and treats, but I'd rather do my own thing than be pet or interacted with. I'll need a bit more time to get used to my new living area. An adoption counselor can tell you more! Primary Color: Brown Tabby Secondary Color: White Weight: 9.6 Age: 8yrs 1mths 3wks

Story
Meet Sam! This fluffy young boy can be just a little shy at first, but once he warms up he is very sweet. He would do best in a home without young kids, cats or dogs. He is currently on a urinary health diet due to having urinary cristals in the past. He loves when you talk softly to him and pet him, he will start purring and slow blinking at you! Sam likes to climb up high too, so a cat tree is a must! If you would like to meet Sam, please go to our website FurryFriendsWA.org and click 'adopt' to fill out an application! ##1737678##

Story
Meet River, a gentle and sweet young cat with a heart of gold! River’s story began in a challenging environment, having come from a large cat hoarding and neglect situation. As a result, she is quite shy and will need a special home that offers a peaceful, dog-free, and child-free environment.   Despite her initial reservations, River’s affection shines through once she builds trust with her human companions. She’s looking for someone who is patient and understanding, willing to give her the time and space she needs to feel safe and loved.   With a little bit of kindness and a lot of patience, River will blossom into a wonderfully loyal companion. If you’re ready to offer a calm and loving home, River is ready to show you just how sweet she can be. Story
Say hello to Newton! This young fella is a bit shy and watchful. He will keep an eye on you when you enter the room and interact with his brothers. Once you are deemed worthy, he will lean in to pets, deeply enjoying every scratch. When done, tends to return back to his watchful perch. He will do best with a confident kitty in the home, and would do good with older children who respect cat boundaries. If you would like to meet me please go to furryfriendswa.org, click adopt and fill out an application.  ##2042419##

Story
Meet Fitz, a charming 10-year-old domestic medium hair black cat with a heart full of love. Fitz is a big lap cat who adores snuggling and will make the perfect companion for anyone looking for a furry friend to cuddle with. Fitz has always lived with another cat and should do well with a single feline companion, though he’s also perfectly happy being the only cat in the household. While he hasn't been around dogs, he is great with older children (8+) and will thrive in a home where he can relax and enjoy peaceful interactions. If you're searching for a big, snuggly baby to bring joy and warmth to your home, Fitz is the perfect match for you. Adopt Fitz and experience the love and companionship of this sweet and affectionate cat.

Story
We bought Kuro from Petsmart 6 years ago. We estimate he is around 8 years old and in good health. He has travelled across the country with us. We are expecting a baby soon and need to rehome him. Kuro is very loving and adores ear scratches. He sleeps a lot and will sleep on your lap. He loves to play with cat toys. He also loves to explore outside. When we initially adopted him, he was strictly indoor. However, he has become used to going outside since we got a fenced house. Kuro is friends with our rabbit. However, he gets very anxious with new people, pets, and car rides. When our parents bring a dog over, or another cat is outside, he gets very upset. He may adjust to other pets, but weve only tried him with a rabbit. He does meow when he is hungry or wants to come inside. He has never hurt anyone, but may scratch if pet wrong.

Story
Ashton, the dapper gentleman in a tuxedo, is a handsome grey cat seeking a peaceful retirement home. He arrived at the shelter with a few battle scars but is recovering from entropion surgery and will soon be feeling like his old self again.Despite his rough exterior, Ashton is a sweet and affectionate boy who loves nothing more than a warm lap and a gentle chin scratch. He's a bit shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he'll be your loyal companion for life.Ashton is looking for a quiet, low-stress home, where he can be the center of attention. If you're looking for a loving and low-maintenance companion who will appreciate your kindness and patience, Ashton is the perfect cat for you.Ashton is FIV positive, meaning he would do best in a home with other FIV positive kitties or as a solo cat in his new home. He also must be an indoor only boy to keep transmission of FIV as low as possible, and will need a loving human who is ready to tackle any immune support he may need in the future. 🐾💖 Primary Color: Grey Secondary Color: White Weight: 10.25 Age: 10yrs 1mths 1wks

Story
I am quite the traveler! When we lost our home in Florida during Hurricane Ian, we came to the PNW to find a new place to call home. However, recovering from the financial loss has been tough on my mom and we've been staying with her friends. We're grateful for a roof over us but I've been cooped up in one bedroom for way too long because the resident cat is very hostile to me! Mom figured I'd be better in a home of my own, especially since I've been Feline Leukemia (FeLV) positive since I was born. It was thought I had shed the virus but I guess not. That means I need to be your only kitty or I could live with another kitty that has FeLV if they want company! I'm a very sweet girl and have a few tricks I like to try. I like to try to get the top off the treat jar with my paws. When I think it's time to get mom up, I try to nip her nose to tell her it's time to wake up. I also try to straighten her hair by pulling at the crown. I loved my prior housemates. Jody, 90 lb German Shepherd and Domino, the 14-year-old male cat. It takes me a little time to feel secure and warm up but I've gotten so much better since traveling by car from Florida and being confined for the past couple of months! If you have room in your heart for a sweet girl and no other cats, or one like me, fill out at application and let's meet to see what we think of each other! You won't be sorry!September 11, 2024, 1:36 pm

Story
This young tuxedo lady was just an adolescent herself when she was taken in by a good Samaritan before the snowstorm, and found to be pregnant. She had her babies on Leap Day (Feb 29th), has raised them successfully and is now looking for her forever home. She is sweet and likes attention but can be a little spicy, too. Maybe it was just hormones, but she may not be a good choice for small children. She would also love to be your one and only feline! She is now spayed, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, and vaccinated and ready for her new home.September 11, 2024, 1:36 pm
