Story
These sweet orange-and-white boys are a bonded pair looking for a patient, understanding forever home. They are very shy with people and not interested in being pet right now — but they get along wonderfully with dogs and absolutely love cuddling and playing with the resident cat in their foster home. While they may not seek out attention, they quietly share space with their foster family and will sleep on the bed at night, adding a comforting presence to the home. They adore Churu treats, which is a great way to slowly earn their trust. When it’s just them and the other pets, these brothers are playful, silly, and affectionate with each other — showing their sweet personalities in their own time. They will need a calm home and adopters who are willing to give them as much time as they need to come out of their shells. In the right home, with patience and love, they will slowly blossom and become a wonderful part of the household. If you believe that love means meeting animals where they are and giving them a lifetime of safety and care, these gentle boys might be the perfect match for you.&#226&#156&#133 Neutered&#226&#156&#133 Vaccinated&#226&#156&#133 Microchipped&#226&#156&#133 Treated for fleas and worms Interested in meeting Oatmeal and Barley? Please email: adoption@columbiahumane.org for an application.Adoption Fee: $150 EachFor more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgNovember 18, 2025, 5:50 am

Story
Coraline is a very vocal when she wants something or is not happy with something, she will let you know. She`s also a professional hider and can be shy if she doesn`t know you, but once she gets use to you she loves attention and being pet. Though she is not a lap cat she does love lots of pets and head scratches. She loves keeping herself hydrated and when she`s out of water she let`s you know she needs a refill. Coraline often keeps to herself but does enjoy the company of her companions and human friends but only on her terms. She`s a very mellow kitty that enjoys being in a mellow environment with low activity and calm vibes, so no loud noises and running around. She`s a big foodie so she`ll warm up faster to you with treats and food offerings.

Story
Taco is a young male tuxedo with the cutest little bend in his tail—something he was born with and wears proudly like a quirky signature. Just like his sister, he’s full of playful energy and loves a good game of chase or wrestling match with other cats. After playtime, Taco turns into a total cuddle bug who loves to snuggle up next to you or even on your lap. He’s friendly, people-oriented, and always nearby, ready for affection. He hasn’t been around children yet, so we don’t know how he would do with them. Taco has had limited exposure to dogs and is a bit wary, but he hasn’t shown fear or aggression—just caution. With more gentle exposure and reassurance, he could likely adjust well. Taco would make a loving companion in a home where he has playtime, snuggles, and people or pets to keep him company.

Story
Nori is a lovable black-and-gray striped tabby who was found on the streets, so her past is a bit of a mystery—but she’s more than ready for a safe, cozy home. She’s a laid-back girl who enjoys long naps in soft spots, but when she’s in the mood to play, she’s all in! She loves batting around ball toys and bottle caps, and she’s always up for a wrestling match or a game of chase with her kitty friends.Nori is hard of hearing, so her meow is a little louder than most—she doesn’t realize how strong her voice is, which only adds to her charm. She also has a shorter back leg that sticks out adorably when she sits, but it doesn’t slow her down one bit. She’s good with other cats and comfortable around calm, respectful dogs. With her sweet personality, playful spirit, and quirky charm, Nori is sure to win you over.
