A sweet bonded pair, these two kittens are looking for love and gentleness. Rumdum is more outgoing, demanding your attention. Lil Tuxie follows her brother’s lead and warms up a little more slowly. Watching the birds and squirrels in the tree outside their window is also high on their list of favorite activities. Story
Felix is an exceptional kitten. He loves loves LOVES people, even new people. Felix regards everyone, cat and person alike, to be either friends or future friends. He is very playful and is always wherever the action is. Once he's gotten all of his play energy out, he is the perfect little lap cat, always happy to watch TV or read your book with you. This is a very special little boy. His foster family is crazy about him!   Felix is one of those special kittens that is as cute on the outside as he is friendly and happy on the inside.  He is good with kids and cats and probably gentle and cat-savvy dogs as well.  A great family pet.   Felix was found outside on Tomahawk Island where it is assumed someone lost/abandoned him.  He asked to be picked up and loved on and the finder got him to us where he was neutered, vaccinated and tested.  Now all that is missing in his young 5-month old life is a loving family.     No outside life for this adorable little man.  He will love to sleep with “his kids” and will be so happy to see everyone after work and school is over.  Felix is friendly, healthy and fun and just waiting to meet you!  Adoption fee is $200.  Indoor only! (NOTE!  His bonded sister-by-another-mother is SASHA - Pair price is $300)   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Your information will be forwarded to the foster parent for follow-ups and meeting arrangement. Adoption fee Includes spay/neuter, microchip, worming and flea treatment, current vaccines, and negative FIV and FeLV test. Cat's Cradle is an all-volunteer, non-profit foster-home based rescue serving Oregon cats who need new homes. 100% of your adoption fee goes to provide for the medical and physical needs of the cats in our care. We invite you to become a foster parent and experience the great satisfaction of helping a cat or kitten in need.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.December 6, 2023, 8:13 pm

Story
Nikita is a 5 month old, spayed, microchipped and vaccinated kitten.  She has pretty makings on her predominantly black coat with big round eyes. Nikita has very unique fur, long and black with some golden leopard pattern highlights. She is a bit competitive with other cats, and very much needs a home where she has at least one person all to herself. Nikita is a very person-oriented cat, and loves nothing more than some good pets.  She might be best as an only cat but she has successfully lived with other teen kittens and young adults.   Indoor only Hillsboro foster home.  $200 adoption fee.  Nikita is vaccinated, spayed and microchipped and negative for FIV and FelV.  You will be offered a 30-day free medical insurance policy for her. Story
FIV Positive This gentle giant, named Fuzzy, by his feeder, has been roaming the streets of Albany, crying to be let inside. Obviously, he was previously owned and been abandoned, atleast, since September. It is hard to believe anyone would let this gem go. He loves the comfort of being held close, alot, and purrs and purrs in your arms. Anyone would be lucky and happy to get this guy. He gets along with everyone and receives and gives head butts with his other feline friends. He craves attention and just wants to love on you. He loves and knows what a cat tree is. And uses the litterbox purrfectly, no problems. He deserves a loving and caring, safe home. We have not tested him with dogs yet. And assume he will be fine with cat-educated children with supervision. In October, Fuzzy got neutered, eartipped, tested negative for FelV, but positive for FIV. He can live a purrfectly healthy long life with FIV, if given preventive care - seeing a vet atleast 1x/yr. He is non aggressive, so that works fine with other non aggressive cats. But if you have a bully male who likes to defend it's territory, then that would not be suitable with FIV+ cats. It is because deep bite wounds are how, typically, the virus is passed to others. He also got vaccinated with FVRCP, (treats/prevents Distemper, Herpes, & URIs).and Rabies shot. Flea treated monthly and dewormed. He will be microchipped at time of adoption. All medical records provided upon adoption and we deliver him to your home for the meet and greet. We are asking for a donation of $120 for the adoption fee. Please will you give this guy a great indoor only life?   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM. Story
Hello, my name is Pete!! I'm a really nice looking guy about 1 year old.  I am neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and tested (neg/neg) and alI I need is a loving home.  I get along ok with other cats (I currently live with a bunch of them…) but would rather be an only cat and would love to have all the attention from my special people.     I was probably dumped or lost outside when I was little because my rescuer says I was friendly with people from the very beginning.  I know how to use the litter box (always!) and I know how to “play nice” but sometimes I pounce and want to play rough and not all of my new cat friends think that is fun like I do.  My foster thinks I'm pretty special and she is looking for  someone to adopt me so I can always be safe indoors.  $125 rehoming fee.   For more information on meeting and adopting this kitty, please fill out a pre-adoption application under "ADOPT" on our website at WWW.CATSCRADLERESCUE.COM.
