Story
These sweet orange-and-white boys are a bonded pair looking for a patient, understanding forever home. They are very shy with people and not interested in being pet right now — but they get along wonderfully with dogs and absolutely love cuddling and playing with the resident cat in their foster home. While they may not seek out attention, they quietly share space with their foster family and will sleep on the bed at night, adding a comforting presence to the home. They adore Churu treats, which is a great way to slowly earn their trust. When it’s just them and the other pets, these brothers are playful, silly, and affectionate with each other — showing their sweet personalities in their own time. They will need a calm home and adopters who are willing to give them as much time as they need to come out of their shells. In the right home, with patience and love, they will slowly blossom and become a wonderful part of the household. If you believe that love means meeting animals where they are and giving them a lifetime of safety and care, these gentle boys might be the perfect match for you.&#226&#156&#133 Neutered&#226&#156&#133 Vaccinated&#226&#156&#133 Microchipped&#226&#156&#133 Treated for fleas and worms Interested in meeting Oatmeal and Barley? Please email: adoption@columbiahumane.org for an application.Adoption Fee: $150 EachFor more information call 503-397-4353 or email adoption@columbiahumane.orgNovember 18, 2025, 5:50 am

Story
My name is Bird and I'm two years old. I'm a wonderful cat with personality galore. I use my litter box without fail and am an all-around easy keeper. I am fully up to date on all vaccines and have a clean bill of health. I do really well with dogs - I grew up with three of them. I enjoy playing with kitty toys, snuggling up on people's laps, being brushed and getting baths, and even going for rides in my stroller. I'm patient for nail trims. And I'm not destructive. I'm an indoor cat, and my human would prefer I go to an indoor home for safety. Reason for rehoming: I'm bored. It's been recommended that I live with another cat now that my human's work schedule doesn't afford us the same amount of playtime as it did when she worked from home.
