Story
We have several kids, 2 other cats and we occasionally dog sit. Tiny is such a sweet and calm cat. When she feels comfortable, she will roll around on her back, waiting for belly scratches and loves attention and cuddling. However, our house doesn’t provide much of this for her with a younger cat who bothers her and with kids’ friends coming and going. She seems scared and tries to hide often. We feel like she would thrive in a more calm atmosphere.

Story
Finn is a large, friendly cat who is about 5 or 6 years old. He will greet you and visitors at the door, and follow you around the house. Finn loves pets from his favorite person and will let you rub his belly for hours. He does not scratch furniture, but loves his cardboard scratchers. He would be best in a home without young children, as their enthusiastic interactions can overwhelm him. He would love to be an only pet, but he should be good with other animals, with a slow introduction. Finn is usually fine around groups of people in the home and wants to be near all the fun. He spends much of his day resting on the back of our couch, where he can watch the outdoor scenes. He has been an indoor cat, but loves the occasional chance to sneak outside. On those occasions, he always stays near the house. He will even sit at your feet while you relax on the patio. Sometimes, he seems to think he is a dog!

Story
God's Dogs Rescue plus Kitties does NOT transport any cats or kittens in or out of the state of Texas. It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. ROADIE UPDATE!!!!! Roadie has really blossomed into a beautiful, friendly feline who would love nothing better than to sit next to you while watching tv, while working at the computer or doing anything that keeps her close to you! Miss Roadie is such a character. She and her babies were rescued from a location in Laredo where an old building was about to be bull dozed. Roadie is full of life and loves to be adored. For good reason--she has very unusual markings and and a fluffy tail. At the moment, Roadie is still a little spicy--a character trait developed while she was on the street. Now that life has changed so much for the better, Roadie is becoming a loving, sweet cat with a lot of personality!

**Adoption visits are by appointment only** If you see an animal you`re interested in, fill out an adoption questionnaire on our website https://everettwa.gov/161/Adopt-a-PetTipper is a handsome guy with the most amazing ear toofs and gorgeous green eyes! He does take some time to adjust to new environments but once he does his favorite activities include playing with ball toys and chasing feather toys. Tipper can have opinions on when he wants to be pet, so any adopters should be cat savvy, experienced and able to read his body language. This also means that any kids in the home should be 12 years or older and able to respect his boundaries. We think Tipper would prefer the indoor/outdoor lifestyle and will need proper introductions to a safe roaming area. He prefers to be the only cat in the home.

She needs someone who can provide plenty of playtime, interaction, and lots of environmental enrichment to keep her happy and engaged. If you’re looking for a spirited, fun-loving companion who will keep you on your toes, Zoey is the perfect match!

It is too stressful for the cats or kittens to be transported long distances, especially when enclosed in a vehicle containing dogs and puppies. Thank you for your understanding. Meet Picasso! He is almost a twin to his brother Hockney except that he is a little bigger. Picasso loves to play and nap and then play some more. He purrs easily and enjoys life as it comes along. He's very good about keeping his luxurious coat immaculate and without tangles. Picasso is very proud of his tail--he carries it like a plume! Picasso will be a wonderful fur companion--he fits into any situation and is always in a good mood!
