Story
This is a brother and sister pair. The all black one is Zuko. He is sweet and affectionate. The black and white is Azula. She is shy at first but also sweet and affectionate. They are both fixed and about 5-6 years old. We got these cats during Covid in 2020. Unfortunately we are moving out of state cross country and cant bring them with us. These cats are my daughters pride and joy and it hurts our hearts to rehome them. We are looking for a family that will love them like the sweet little babies they are. Good with dogs. Good with cats. Great with kids. We are hoping to rehome them by April 25th.

Story
Sam approached our family on the street asking for help as a starving, sickly kitten. After receiving the medical care he needed for some minor infections, he quickly blossomed into a sweet and social cat. He absolutely loves attention and makes fast friends with his feline companions; he has also been caught snuggling with dogs! Multiple times a day, Sam will bring us some of his favorite toys as trophies, and we reward him with a game of fetch or simply some love and affection. Sam will need frequent brushing, given how fluffy his coat is. He is also quite vocal and his purr is very loud. The only thing bigger than his heart is his huge poofy tail! Sam must be adopted with his brother Frodo, they are a bonded pair that love each other so much!

Story
Adoptable in Texas only. Adoption fee is $150.00 Personality: Skor is an adorable feline companion who may initially be shy and reserved but has a heart full of love to give. He is not the most confident cat but thrives in the company of outgoing and friendly feline friends. While Skor may not be a cuddler, he enjoys gentle pets and affection from his human companions. Ideal Home: Skor would thrive in a calm and patient home environment with experienced cat owners who understand his shy nature and are willing to give him the time and space he needs to adjust. A home with at least one outgoing and friendly cat buddy would be ideal for Skor, as he enjoys the company of other felines. It's important for his new home to provide plenty of hiding spots and vertical space for him to feel safe and secure. Special Considerations: Skor may take some time to warm up to new surroundings and people, so patience and understanding are key. He may benefit from gradual introductions to new people and environments to help build his confidence over time. Additionally, his new family should be mindful of his preference for gentle pets rather than cuddling and respect his boundaries. Overall, Skor is a sweet and lovable cat who is sure to bring joy and companionship to the right home. If you're looking for a furry friend to share your life with, consider welcoming Skor into your heart and home! This cat is currently being fostered in San Antonio, TX.

Story
Meet Lucy! Lucy is a 10.5 year old black medium haired cat. She enjoys being center of attention and loves cuddles. She tolerates young children and other animals. She loves cat grass and tuna. She enjoys being around people and has a bad case of FOMO (fear of missing out). Lucy had a bladder stone in April 2020, which was believed to have been caused by stress. After changing her diet for a bit it went away and we have not seen any problems with it since. Lucy is spayed and up to date on her shots. Lucy’s brother Leo is also up for adoption. While they do not have to stay together, if you are looking for a beautiful duo, look no further! Apply today to meet Lucy in her foster home!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.April 24, 2024, 9:24 pm

Story
Adelaide is a beautiful kitten with soft, fluffy fur and big, curious eyes. She enjoys exploring her surroundings and often wanders around the house, but she can be shy when meeting new people. However, once she gets to know you, she is very affectionate and loves attention.   Adelaide's favorite toy is a ribbon stick, and she loves to play with it. She is very active and playful but also enjoys a good nap in a cozy spot.   When it comes to food, Adelaide is a good eater, she loves her dry food! She also enjoys treats but may need some time to settle into her new home before feeling comfortable enough to accept them.   Overall, Adelaide is a sweet and loving kitten who needs a little time to adjust to new people and surroundings. She is only a little over six months old! With patience and affection, she will surely become a beloved companion. ##2007514##

Story
Shadow is searching for her new home and she's hoping to find one full of cozy beds, windows for sunbathing, laps for snuggling, and delicious food for eating. At 9-years-old, Shadow is a pretty easy keeper and will keep you feeling loved and happy. Shadow does well with other cats but hasn't ever lived with dogs, so any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly. Shadow will likely do best in a quieter home with just teens and adults where she can settle in at her own pace. If you're ready to welcome home this sweetheart, send in an adoption application today! *Shadow is currently in a foster home and not located in the shelter.#catcompatible

Story
Wind, Hail, and Thunder are sweet and playful 2-month-old kittens ready to find their new families! These kittens are full of playful spunk, friendly charm, and silly antics. You'll be laughing in no time when you watch them carry around toys, climb way up high, and beg for pets. These littles are hoping their humans will be as peppy as they are and give them plenty of daily playtime and socialization. They do well with other cats but have never met dogs. Any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly. These kittens will likely do well with older kids who are able to handle them gently. If you're ready to welcome home one (or two!) of these littles, come in and see them today!
