Hello, I'm Cameo. I'm a sweet, gentle soul who prefers the quieter side of life. I may be a little shy when we first meet, but give me a moment and I'll warm up to you. My favorite pastime is being brushed, it's so soothing and makes me purr like a little engine. I'm not the type to cause a fuss, I enjoy my peace and quiet. I'm looking for a forever home where I can bask in your love and patience. If you're searching for a mellow companion, I could be your perfect match. I may do well with other cats in my new home with a slow introduction. Adoption Fee: WaivedSee Monthly Promotion

Meet Lily, a unique feline with a charming personality. She's shy, yet friendly, and enjoys her independence. Lily's curiosity will have her exploring every nook and cranny of her new home, and her mellow nature means she's content to simply sit by your side. She prefers a quiet household with no other pets, as she likes to be the star of the show. While she may be a bit shy at first, once she warms up to you, her friendly side shines. Due to her timid nature, any children in her new home are required to be over 10. Her independent streak means she's low-maintenance, perfect for those with a busy lifestyle. Adopting Lily means gaining a companion who will bring a unique blend of curiosity, calmness, and friendship into your life.Adoption Fee: WaivedMonthly Promotion Applies

Story
Hi! I'm Lox Apollo, although my friends just call me Apollo for short. I am a handsome orange guy looking for my new home. Garfield has got nothing on me! I will bring joy to your life with my enthusiastic hunts for the elusive laser pointer dot. I may be a cat, but I love to lay on big dog beds in a nice sunny spot of the house. Scratch behind my ears and under my chin, and I will be your best friend! I'll be a listening ear whenever you need to talk, just as long as you don't mind some talking in return! I may be a big boy, but my voice is soft and gentle. I lived with dogs in my previous home as well as cats, so I may do well with either as long as I have a slow introduction to them. Young children make me a little nervous though, so I would prefer older kids in my new home. Come meet me today and fall in love!Adoption fee: WaivedMonthly Promotion Applies

Story
Boba is a quiet cat. She was found in a friends backyard as a kitten and has been in my care ever since. I am her only owner and Boba is around 3 years old. She is a little shy at first but will want to cuddle and lay on your lap once comfortable. My fiancé and I are moving and the new house will not allow cats. I’m so sad to let go of her, she’s such a sweetie. I had another cat (fixed male) that I have had to rehome as well but they were very loving towards one another. Often licking each other and snuggling together. She is an all black cat with yellowish green eyes. Especially because of her coat color I want to make sure she is taken care of by a loving owner that has good intentions. I am flexible on price as I don’t see how I can put a price on an animal I love so dearly, and it is not about the money for me. It is truly heartbreaking that we have to rehome Boba so I really want to ensure her safe care when choosing an owner. Serious inquiries only please!

Story
1) READ ENTIRE DESCRIPTION 2) ALL FAQS ANSWERED HERE & ON OUR WEBSITE 3) APPLICATION REQUIRED (link at the end) These sisters were born to be wild, but not in a bad way. They are the most energetic of the litter and really know how to have fun. Yomie absolutely loves attention and being on someone’s lap, shoulder, back or head, purring the entire time. She wants to be close to her person and likes rubbing faces. Although her primary objective is getting attention, Yomie really knows how to have a good time. She is a marathon runner, an avid hunter and will kill any toy that moves in her field of vision. She is slender and built for speed. Yomi’s sister Fuji is just as active as Yomie with her own set of athletic abilities and skills. Fuji is an acclaimed high jumper that enjoys (cat) tree climbing, zooming through the cat tunnel, and carrying toys (big and small) around. Fuji will need a high (carpeted) cat tree, or two, in her home to maintain her climbing skills. Fuji is full of fun and the life of the party. Once she has exhausted her energy Fuji will climb on a lap to relax. These sisters will run around and play until physically exhausted, and sometimes panting. As active as they are, they also enjoy spending some time on the couch hanging out. Yomie and Fuji are smart and are always investigating new things and will likely be in the middle of any home project. This dynamic duo is looking for a home together where they have room to run around and be crazy. They would probably do fine in a home with other friendly cats, a cat savvy mellow dog and teen children, or older. If you would like to know more about these party girls please fill out and submit an adoption application. ________________________________________________________ ****MEDICAL INFO**** WE DO NOT CUT CORNERS WITH OUR CATS HEALTH NOR ONLY DO THE BARE MINIMUM REQUIRED BY LAW!!! We are a quality over quantity-based rescue with our kitten’s health and your resident pet's health as a priority. We don't sacrifice quality health care for lower costs or hurrying to free up space in our program like other rescues and shelters do. We also use high quality food to nourish our kittens. __________________________________________________________ ALL CATS ARE: SPAYED/NEUTERED by a PRIVATE veterinarian ~Vaccinated ~Rabies* ~Microchipped** ~Tested for Diseases ~TREATED/PREVENTATIVE FOR: Fleas Worms Ear Mites ~Litterbox Trained ~Socialized in private foster homes ~MULTI ADOPTION DISCOUNT * If age appropriate ** FREE LIFETIME REGISTRATION ____________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process You can fill out electronically or print out and take a picture of the application & send it via email, whichever is easiest for you. _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION***** By private appointment in Rocklin, CA area, at Bark Avenue Rocklin or foster home. ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs. if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc. may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! Rollie Pollie has a perfect name. This little girl is just a round bundle of adorableness. She is a little shy but absolutley loves scratches and pets. Once she starts purring, she doesn't stop. She knows her name and will come and greet you when you call her. She is still learning to trust people, so she will need a home where someone can be patient with her while she settles in. She does great with other cats, so feline friends are welcome!

I'm a chill guy and like to hang out with people and sleep, be petted eat and repeat. I love all my friends here, but really miss having a home of my own. Story
These two sweet kitties inspired my daughter to fight like a warrior to recover from her illness, but sadly, their human was taken from them and they are in need of a new forever home. They are an extremely bonded pair yet also fully engaged in their human relationships. They are indoor only. Shots are overdue but no fleas, no worms, no health issues. No behaviorial problems whatsoever. They have toys, scratchers and enrichment activities. They use an amazing litter system (Tidy Cats Breeze). No clay dust or clumps and no perceptible odor. They are both calm. sweet-tempered, playful, and snuggly. They are also both 100% self grooming though Figgy is spoiled and usually has his done by Dinah. They both give sweet nose bop kisses and Dinah can say I love you with her eyes. Figaro is a big sleek boy and weighs about 14 pounds. He is SUPER chill, very affectionate, and a spoiled baby. Toys, litter, food, etc. will be passed along. *** Please see separate listing for Dinah.
