Story
Lenny is a very sweet cat. He is friendly with other cats and likely would do well with a calm, quiet dog. He has a quirky personality and is very playful and loving. Lenny was found wandering the streets dragging a hind leg from an old severe femur fracture. When he was found he was starving, covered in fleas, ticks, and severely anemic. Over the past month he had his leg amputated and has been nursed back to health. He is shy but very sweet and loves belly rubs and attention. He prefers a quiet home as he is still adjusting to getting to live indoors. Now he has doubled his weight and is fat and happy. He is ready for a home!

Story
WE WILL HAVE DOZENS OF KITTENS AVAILABLE IN MID-JUNE to EARLY JULY. All colors- Tabbies, Siamese, Russian Blue, Orange, etc. They are currently still growing and are too young to be adopted out just yet. We prioritize people wanting to adopt a bonded PAIR of kittens and to people who follow directions such as reading the FAQS on our website and submitting an application. (Link below) ________________________________________________________ ****MEDICAL INFO:**** WE DO NOT CUT CORNERS WITH OUR CATS HEALTH NOR ONLY DO THE BARE MINIMUM REQUIRED BY LAW!!! We are a quality over quantity-based rescue with our kitten's health (and your resident pet's health) as a priority. We have a very strict protocol to eliminate intestinal parasites which takes time & is costly. We want you to adopt CATS- not WORMS that can be spread to your other pets/kids! We don't sacrifice quality health care for lower costs or hurrying to free up space in our program. Most other places cannot/will not do what we do for our kittens. We also use high quality food to nourish our kittens. __________________________________________________________ APPLICATION: For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located here: https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process You can fill out electronically or print out and take a picture of the application & send it via email, whichever is easiest for you. _____________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION LOCATION:***** By private appointment in Rocklin/Roseville/Wheatland Foster home or Bark Avenue Rocklin. ______________________________________________________ *****ADOPTION PROCESS:***** APPLICATION: Please contact us and we will send you an online application. A response is usually given with 24-48 hrs if we think it's a potentially good match. INTERVIEW: An adoption counselor will contact you via phone to answer any questions and if it seems like a good fit, arrangements will be made for all parties to meet with desired cat(s) at a mutually agreeable time. APPROVAL: If adoption is approved, a contract and adoption fee to cover veterinary costs will be required. You will be given medical files. TIME FRAME: Based on volunteer availability, it is possible for all adoption steps to be completed the same day, however, it is not guaranteed. Please note that occasionally a home check, vet records/references, etc may be required and multiple people may be interested in the same cat(s) so additional time may be necessary. You are also welcome to get the kitten an appointment with your own veterinarian at your expense prior to adoption, just be aware that may delay the adoption by several days. WHY: Our adoption vetting process ensures a proper feline fit for your family. You may be a wonderful pet owner but may not be the best fit for a particular cat, or other extenuating circumstances. Also, YOU may know you are a good pet owner, but we don't. We exist because too many people view pet ownership as casual or disposable so we want to be sure the best match is made for the next 15-20 years. Your patience and understanding as to where we are coming from are much appreciated. Our adoption process is also reflective of the extremely thorough medical protocol our kittens receive. Thank you! ADOPTION FEES: See website- https://www.missionmeowcats.org/adoptables-and-process _______________________________________________________________ ****APPLICATION:**** For FAQS and Priority Consideration, please fill out an application located at the link below. Story
Oscar is a beautiful fluffy boy looking for his new home. His previous owners called him an affectionate lap cat. He is a little nervous with loud noises or sudden movements, so we think he would do best with older children in his home. He doesn't enjoy the company of other cats, so he is required to be the only cat in his new home.Adoption Fee: $2550th Anniversary Promo

Story
Etta is a cute, sweet young cat looking for her new home. She is very affectionate and loves to fall asleep in a sunny spot. She is required to go to an adult only home, as sometimes she can get too excited when pet. Etta is FIV positive, therefore she needs to be indoor only. She may do well with other cats in her new home with a slow introduction. A manager consult will be provided to discuss her individual history.Adoption Fee: $2550th Anniversary Promo
