Ursula AVAILABLE NOW! (By appointment only)
Available for adoption after a 1–2 week foster-to-adopt “trial” Birthday: 4/21/24 Sex: Female Color: Seal point dilute tortie Apply here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/IBRI/Cat
Questions or to schedule a meet: 916-705-6884 Ursula is a mellow, affectionate, and beautiful girl with truly unique coloring. She’s a seal point with a soft, swirly dilute tortie pattern that makes her one of a kind. She has a gentle, reserved nature but is very loving once she feels comfortable. Ursula enjoys the company of other cats and tolerates dogs, but her favorite companions are her people. She has a thick, plush coat and loves gentle pets, itchy-scratches, and being brushed. Ursula came to rescue with a severe upper respiratory infection and is prone to chronic nasal congestion and watery, crusty eyes. Her symptoms are closely tied to stress and tend to improve as she settles into a stable home. While we expect her to always have some degree of congestion and eye drainage, her care needs are simple—just a gentle wipe of her nose and face twice daily to keep her comfortable and breathing easily. Ursula is a very special girl who will thrive in a loving, low-stress home with people willing to provide a little extra care. In return, she offers quiet affection, beauty, and companionship. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle cat to love and care for, Ursula would be lucky to be part of your family

Story
Available for adoption after a 1–2 week foster-to-adopt “trial” Estimated age: 4–7 years
Sex: Neutered Male
Breed: Flame Point Siamese mix 📄 Apply here: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/IBRI/Cat
📞 Questions or to schedule a meet: 916-705-6884 Murph is a gently rambunctious love bug who truly works (snuggles) hard and plays hard. By day, you’ll find him curled up beside whatever you’re doing—or strategically positioning himself near the nearest source of warmth. Turn on a heater for your feet or an electric blanket for yourself? Cute idea, but those are actually for Murph. The fastest way to summon him is with a wand toy—his absolute favorite. If no one is available to play, he’ll happily entertain himself with a toy mouse, but interactive play is definitely his preference. After playtime, he’s all about cuddles. Murph loves pets and scratches (especially head and neck scratches) and has a sweet habit of cuddling with one little paw—or his head—resting on you. He runs a bit cold and is a big fan of snuggling under the covers during couch time. Murph gets along very well with other cats and remains calm even when others are feeling a little spicy. He’s a social, personable guy who enjoys being part of the action without being overwhelming. He does have some allergies and takes a daily pill, which he handles like a total champ—no fuss at all. Important things about Murph: * Eats Purina Pro Plan Sensitive Skin & Stomach (Lamb & Rice) dry food and Weruva BFF Oh My Gravy canned food * Takes 5 mg of generic Zyrtec once daily * Prefers a quieter home; loud noises and young children wouldn’t be ideal * Not a big fan of dogs * FIV+ — but don’t let that scare you away! FIV-positive cats can live long, happy lives. FIV is only transmitted through deep bite wounds, so Murph can safely live with other friendly, non-aggressive cats. We do recommend discussing any multi-cat household with your veterinarian as there is still some minor level of risk. If you’re looking for a warm, affectionate companion who will happily play with you and then curl up under the covers for a cozy evening, Murph might just be your perfect match.

Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Missy is a sweet, affectionate yet independent brown tabby. She's 11/12 years old, and a sweetheart who enjoys time both indoors and outdoors. She loves attention and cuddles, but also values quiet moments alone. She will headbutt your hand for pets but can quickly switch off; she' not aggressive but may hiss or growl, and has never bitten or scratched. Missy is spayed but not up-to-date on shots. She may be friendly with other cats but has been chased out of the house by our current kitty and we think she would do best in a home with a safe indoor and outdoor space available to her. We are looking for a responsible, loving home where Missy will be cared for, adored and spoiled. She enjoys quiet observation, sunbathing, and occasional playtime with toys. Ideal for someone patient who understands her independent streak, but wants a loving, loyal companion who will bond on her own terms. she also loves going on short walks withus and everyone in the neighborhood.

PLEASE ADOPT WITH A SIBLINGSkittles is a sweet, gentle soul who has spent her entire life with her feline siblings. After her beloved owner passed away, Skittles and 8 other cats came to the shelter and remained in probate for months while legal matters were resolved. Now, she’s finally ready for a second chance at a forever home.Skittles is shy and reserved, preferring to observe the world from a safe distance. She is not accustomed to hands-on affection yet, but her quiet curiosity shines through—especially when food is involved! She happily greets the morning cleanup crew at her door and is very food motivated, which can be a wonderful way to build trust over time.Because she has always relied on the comfort of her siblings, Skittles would thrive being adopted with at least one of them. She is looking for a calm, adult-only, cat-savvy home with a patient adopter who understands that love doesn’t always arrive right away—but is incredibly rewarding when it does.If you believe in giving gentle hearts the time they need, Skittles may be the perfect addition to your family.**WALK IN SHELTER TO ADOPT Tuesday Noon-5pm, Wednesday 12-6pm, Thursday-Sunday Noon-5pm (Closed Mondays and Holidays).
