Story
***ABRAHAM AND ISAAC ARE AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION!!!*** While not senior dogs, we love ALL animals!!! 3-month-old Abraham (darker) and Isaac are ready for their happily ever after! These two purr machines were found along with 6 siblings at a Brentwood school, a site known for dumped cats. They will be microchipped, neutered, and will have their first vaccinations after the last week of July. Both eat like horses, are considered to be healthy, and are litterbox trained. While initially frightened and not receptive to TLC, they have come around and are absolute cuddle-bugs now. They love attention and will be the first to warmly greet their family. It is expected that they will need about 1-2 weeks to settle in to their new home. While they currently live with dogs and cats, they've had limited exposure to them and that will take time. Abraham and Isaac love to climb, explore, sit on laps, sit on shoulders, supervise, play with their bucket(s) of toys, wrestle with each other, etc. While not absolutely necessary, we would love to see them adopted together.

Story
Hello there, I'm Pretzel. Despite my youth, I'm a gentle soul with a mellow temperament. I'm quite independent, but don't let that fool you. I love companionship, especially when it involves cuddles and belly rubs. My friendliness knows no bounds. I'm not one for drama, preferring a quiet, peaceful life. I have a lot of love to give, and I'm hoping to find a forever home where I can share it. I'm sure we could make each other very happy. Adopting me would mean a loyal friend for life and a snuggle buddy for movie nights or relaxing with a good book. I promise to be the best friend you've ever had. Pretzel is neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, fully vaccinated (including rabies), treated to prevent fleas, and litter box trained. His birth date is estimated to be February 21, 2023. Text Jackie at 925-336-7685 if you have any questions about Pretzel. Story
Sheldon is a very sweet, polite gentleman. If you're looking for a lap cat, look no further! Sheldon loves to snuggle and will climb onto your lap asking for affection. He enjoys sunbathing and gives no protest when being picked up. Overall, he is a nice mellow cat who will make a lovely companion. Sheldon was adopted from Valley Humane as a kitten. The household was ultimately not the perfect fit for him, but he is ready for his new forever home! He weighs 13.6 pounds. Sheldon's adoption fee is waived!Sheldon was diagnosed with a grade III-IV/VI murmur. A cardiac ultrasound was performed and diagnosis is a a stage B1 hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM) was diagnosed. HOCM is a genetic disease that causes thickening of the heart muscle as well as turbulent flow of blood through the aorta. At this time, the cat you are adopting is not showing any signs of heart failure. He is currently on a medication called Atenolol to help his heart and will have to be on it life long. He will need a repeat cardiac ultrasound in 6 months to assess progress of his heart disease.Do you have questions about this animal or are you ready to take the next step to adoption? Story
Kit and King have weathered a lot but are proving to be a sweet, responsive pair that are fully house-ready: appropriately responding to "no," playing with cat toys instead of fingers, settling in on a lap with ease and litter-box trained. They've also honed their skills at communicating dinner time!Kit (white calico) takes a little time to warm up to someone but once you've gained his trust, he's happy to shed his lovely white fur all over your lap. He shows his happiness by purring effectively and looking soulfully in your eyes.King (tuxedo) is a BIG bundle of love. He came to his foster home weighing 17 pounds but hasn't complained when being picked up and hugged. He actually seems to like it! His foster mom has either gotten stronger or he's lost some of the weight, as he is much easier to pick up these days. These cats are buddies and can be adopted together, but they would be fine apart as well...as long as they are allowed to be an integral part of their forever family's/families' home(s).Kit has socialized well with the other resident cats in Kitty City.Kit just received a full dental cleaning on 5/16 and 17 teeth were extracted; he is recommended to eat soft food only now.Do you have questions about this animal or are you ready to take the next step to adoption? Story
Cookie and Milk are brother/sister siblings who are loving, friendly and playful! They would do best in a home together - they enjoy playing together as well and cuddling up and napping together. Along with these two loving and sweet cats, we are happy to provide all the necessary items - litter boxes, cat bed, cat tree and toys. We have water dispensers and automatic feeder as well. Owner recently diagnosed with cat allergies, which has triggered asthma attacks. We would love to keep our sweet cats but need to find them a loving and happy home for our own health.
