Story
Jasper is a 5-year-old neutered male, white and orange tabby DSH. He’s a big LOVE. He is the mojo cat in the house and not bothered by dogs that don’t chase him and is curious about kids….I think he would be great with them given the chance. If he is not on your lap, he likes to put himself in front of you in case you want to pet him. He’d rather nap with you or Milo but will settle for a nice spot in the sun, or a box or a basket…anything he can fit into…or not fit into. He is even OK with getting brushed….to a point. He’s hefty since being less active these days…some good play with his human could help with that but his primordial pouch is there to stay. He and Milo are buddies, but he makes friends easily so would be cool with a new cat friend. It is with a very heavy heart that we reach out for help in finding a new home for two of our beloved cats. This is not a decision we ever imagined having to make, and it is truly heartbreaking for our family. Due to a worsening health condition, I have found it increasingly difficult to be around the cats, which has made daily care and interaction nearly impossible. In addition, we recently welcomed a new grandchild into our lives—an incredible blessing—but they have significant allergies, and as primary caregivers, we must ensure a safe environment for them. These combined challenges have led us to the devastating realization that we need to find a new home where our cats will continue to receive the love and care they deserve. We rescued them, and they have been deeply loved members of our family ever since. Our only hope is that they find a home as warm and caring as ours has been for them. If there is any assistance available to help us rehome them to a safe, loving environment, we would be incredibly grateful. We are also more than willing to provide financial support if needed to ensure they transition smoothly into their new home. This is a truly gut-wrenching decision for us, and we are reaching out in the hopes that you can help us navigate this painful process. Please let us know if there are any resources or options available. He's very adaptable. He would be a great pet in any home! Story
Meet Nacho, a handsome light orange tabby teen with a gentle and sweet personality that matches his light colored coat. This 6 month old special boy has come a long way from his shy beginnings, and while it took some time for him to feel safe, he’s blossomed into a sweet and curious companion. Nacho loves to cuddle up and stare into your eyes as he receives pets, and will show his belly for belly rubs once he feels at home! He’s also playful and loves to bat at springs and paper balls and watch outside the window at people and birds. Nacho needs a patient, understanding adopter who knows how to let a shy cat come out of their shell at their own pace. Once he feels secure, you’ll see his playful and loving side shine through. He’s the kind of cat who will reward your patience with deep trust and loyalty. If you’re ready to provide a calm, loving home where he can continue to build confidence and feel cherished, Nacho would love to be your loyal companion. Could this gentle tabby be your next feline friend? Nacho is healthy and has been neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and treated for fleas and worms. He is litter-box trained and uses his scratch post really well. He has been fostered with other cats and wouldn’t mind having an equally gentle and playful feline friend or two in his forever home! Nacho is currently living in Santa Clara, CA 95050 More information & application [ts=1744945372&src=aap]

Story
Hawk was found as a stray at the Lexington reservoir as a kitten. He is very sweet and affectionate. He loves to lay on you or with you in bed or on the couch. He loves to play and loves food. He especially loves treats and a little popcorn as a special treat. Hawk will also come when called! Call his name or snap your fingers or make kissy noises and he comes running. He can be quite active, so would do best in a home that does not have a very docile cat. He is known to pester when he is in a playful mood. He is overall very sweet, affectionate, playful, and just a great cat.

Story
Shy  but mellow and sweet. He likes the company of other cats and I’d frequently find him snuggled up with one of his colony buddies when I’d  feed the colony. He is very cautious but I believe he will be a great indoor cat Snookie is a community cat I trapped and neutered days ago. He has Cerebellar Hypoplasia so he is uncoordinated and unsteady and was recently attacked by something and required some wound care which he received at the neuter appointment. He is not safe to live on the streets with his colony. I’ve been feeding him since last summer along with about 10 other ferals, and he’s used to eating at my side where I keep the other cats away while he eats He is gentle and shy, likes the company of other cats. Due to being a special needs cat he probably wouldn’t do well with small kids as he is easily frightened. I hope this will decrease as he gets familiar with being indoors and starts to feel safe in his new home. He likes other cats. He seems to be interested in playing but until now hasn’t had much experience. He will need some time initially to become fully socialized He has Cerebellar Hypoplasia (CH). That is a birth defect where the cerebellum, the part of the brain responsible for balance and coordination, has not fully developed.  It is not a disease and does not get worse. He has a head tremor which is more noticeable when he’s nervous, and a funny straight leg ‘goose step’ walk, but he can move fast when he’s motivated. He would benefit from small modifications (raised water and food bowls, deeper litter box). Other than that he’s healthy and sweet and perfect for someone with a little patience to socialize him and maybe with a friendly cat buddy or two. He was just seen by a vet, de wormed, got FVRCP and rabies vaccines, flea treatment and neutered Snookie is currently living in San Jose, CA 95121 Please note: Snookie is a Special Needs cat.Snookie needs a home with no young children.Indoor onlyMore information & application [ts=1744945372&src=aap]

Story
Hello, I'm Lil Susie! Don't let my amputated tail fool you, I'm as lively as any other feline. I love exploring my surroundings, always on the hunt for a new adventure, a cat with a playful spirit that never wanes. I can entertain myself with a simple piece of string or a catnip mouse or a crinkly ball. I really am a friendly cat too... I was living in a car with two cat lovers who found me as a kitten in a parking lot. They didn’t have much, but they gave me lots of love and care. I injured my tail due to an accident at their storage unit. They gave me to a rescuer, so I could get the medical care I needed. Life has taught me to be a cat full of resilience and determination. I believe that I am a perfect companion for those who appreciate a pet with a strong sense of independence. Respectful older children would be a better fit for me. I can't wait to meet my forever family and start our journey together! Lil Susie is spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, dewormed, and microchipped.
