Story
Meet Sundae, a charming calico kitten with a big personality and an even bigger purr. She is incredibly friendly and absolutely adores pets, attention, and being near her people. Sundae purrs almost constantly—when she’s playing, when she’s being cuddled, and even when she spots you from across the room. She loves interactive play and if you sit down, expect Sundae to climb right into your lap to make sure she’s getting the affection she deserves. Sundae would thrive in a home with another young, playful cat where she can be showered with attention and return it tenfold. Sundae is spayed and up to date on all her vaccines. Her estimated date of birth is 9/04/2025.

Story
Candy is a beautiful calico who is the loveliest chatty little girl. While she can be shy, she loves being around other cats, enjoys face and neck scratches, and being talked to. Up until recently Candy never left the floor, but she finally jumped up onto the back of a sofa and was looking out the window. At times, she gets so excited and shakes her tail high in the air especially when getting wet food. With time, patience, and meat tubes she will come out of her shell and be so happy. There is no doubt this calico girl wants to be inside and around both humans and other cats. She needs to go to a home that already has resident cats. It's been incredible to see her thrive in her foster home with 3 other cats. Candy would do best with older, respectful children and may do fine with a calm dog. Candy is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. Her estimated date of birth is 12/14/19.

Story
Meet Henrietta – Your Lovable Little Shadow Petite, adorable, and full of love, Henrietta is the ultimate lap cat. This sweet girl thrives on affection—she’ll happily curl up with you for hours, purring away and showing off her expert-level biscuit-making skills. Henrietta is the kind of cat who chooses “her person” and bonds deeply. Once you’ve earned her trust, she’ll follow you from room to room, always ready for a cuddle or a soft head bump. She adores gentle pets, and while she can be a little shy with loud noises, she blossoms in a calm, cozy environment. Equal parts affectionate and delightfully “needy” (in the best possible way), Henrietta will fill your home with love and warmth. She enjoys playtime with a wand toy but is just as happy to snuggle up for a Netflix marathon. Her happiest moments are spent by your side—bonus points if she also has a calm dog friend to keep her company. If you’re looking for a devoted little companion who will love you unconditionally, Henrietta is ready to join you! She will do best in a quiet household with a friend--a cat, a friendly dog or a person who works from home and spends most of their time at home. Could Henrietta be the missing piece in your heart and home? Henrietta is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. Her estimated DOB is 5-23-24. Titus loves Henrietta, his BFF and leader. He is her shadow and is a brave boy when she says something is safe. This can include a new toy, a new person, or food. Titus is affectionate, very playful and loves to parkour with Henrietta. He is hilarious to watch and once he is tired he loves to curl up next to Henrietta while Henrietta cuddles you. Henrietta is Queen B and leader of the pack. Titus is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. His estimated DOB is 5-2-25.

Story
Lipton is a great sidekick for any cat! She loves kitty friends and enjoys the company of humans second best. She can easily be won over with fancy feast and butt scratches. Your feet won’t ever be cold; she is an excellent foot warmer. When she isn’t playing chase with her friend Tag, she is lounging in a sunny window with her other kitty friends. She loves a wool ball or hot wheels car to play with. She is good if you work long hours or take trips as long as she has a kitty friend. She's a little independent, but equally social kitty who enjoys breakfast in bed, afternoon tea time cuddles and long movies with friends. Lipton can be adopted with her buddy Tag or Hopscotch or can go to a home with a young, playful cat. Lipton is spayed and up to date on her vaccines. Her estimated DOB is 6-30-25.

Story
Joey and Leonard are a fabulous duo! They are from different litters, but met in foster and became fast friends. They love wrestling together, chasing small toys, chewing on cardboard boxes, and doing adorable kitten popcorn jumps for wand toys. The boys often sleep snuggled together, and Leonard likes to help groom Joey, even though Joey has not yet returned the favor. Both love to explore and check out new things -- Leonard tends to jump right in, while Joey is more cautious, sniffing things out first. Joey is an absolute lovebug of a kitten. He insists on a cuddle after most meals by climbing up to be held, and he purrs for most pets, including little back massages and belly rubs. Joey's true superpower is drifting off to sleep in your arms even if other cats are still causing chaos. Leonard is a quirky and loving cutie who needs to wear himself out before settling in for lap time or shoulder perching, and he really enjoys petting once he has reached his calm state. Once Leonard becomes comfortable with you, he'll be happy to help wash you with sweet little licks. While Joey and Leonard do help wear each other out, they have big kitten energy and will want lots of playtime with their human family and friends. They are up to date on their vaccines and are neutered.

Story
I am at Oakland Animal Services in kennel Visiting Room:2 When Banjo first arrived at OAS, this handsome boy was overwhelmed by the shelter environment. He stayed in the back of his cage and, although easy to pet, showed little reaction. Now, after several weeks and lots of gentle socialization, he is slowly coming out of his shell. With pets, he relaxes, closes his eyes, and leans into your hand. He'll lick liquid treats from your finger and comes forward for wet food. Banjo needs an adopter with a quiet home—someone patient, experienced with cats, and ready to help this sweet boy blossom into a warm and affectionate companion.   Note:  This cat is under-socialized and will do best in a calm home with a patient, cat-experienced guardian who can give them the time and space they need to settle in and build trust. A quiet environment is essential, as busy households or homes with young children will feel overwhelming for them. They have lived with other cats before (some of whom are also at OAS) and would thrive being adopted with one of their feline friends or joining a home with a gentle, resident cat. Story
ACAMPO, CA (near Lodi): Hello! My name is Spot. It’s because I’ve got these cool black spots mixed in with my white coat. Very stylish, don’t you think? Well, I’m a stylish dude. Not only are my tuxedo markings always in fashion but I make all sorts of cute noises when I play—little meows and other squawks  https://youtu.be/Hj3q7TGMioE I really love to play with other kitties, but I would also be fine as a single kitty. I can be shy when I first meet people, but with a little patience and maybe a treat (I am particularly fond of Temptations treats) I will warm up. Once I’m comfortable with you, I will come right over with my tail in the air for some head rubs and scratches. I was born in August 2019. I have been neutered, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FELV and am up to date on all my shots. I am living in a private foster home so if you would like more information, please text or call Karen at 209-329-2001 and she can tell you all about me. You can fill out an adoption application online at https://forms.gle/obNDXM5Q4SbNNDH67 and once you are approved, we can meet!  December 24, 2025, 10:10 pm

Story
This sweet little girl was found yesterday crying under the hood of a car and has been nothing but loving since being rescued. She’s around 2–3 months old, super playful, cuddly, and loves attention. She’s already using the litter box perfectly and eating just fine, so she’s adjusting great to indoor life. I would absolutely keep her if I could, but I can’t financially support a third cat. There’s a small $30 rehoming fee just to help cover the kitten food, litter and litter box I purchased (and I’ll send those supplies with her), but if that’s a barrier for the right home, it’s not required. She deserves a safe, loving forever home.

He is still learning to trust people, but his passion for wand toy play (along with his love of treats) are helping him come out of his shell. When the toys come out, Raja shows off his athletic Bengal energy and playfulness. Raja is bonded to his younger buddy, Cooper. Cooper is everything Raja needs in a friend: outgoing, social, and a true lap cat. He sets a good example for Raja, showing him that people can be safe and loving, while also giving him a playmate to burn off energy.  They are a dynamic duo who balance each other beautifully and are looking for kind, patient guardians who will continue to their socialization- and give them lots of fun things to do!
