Story
Mimi grew up in a homeless encampment. This social gal nursed a litter of kittens in foster care and then took on another litter that wasn't originally hers! She has a big heart. She's independent and looking for a home where she can be social, explore, and maybe even do some hunting. She is an indoor/outdoor candidate.

Story
Sal and his bonded brother, Carmelo, born approximately 1/31/24, came to Purrific Rescue from a local shelter at the age of 4.5 weeks old as orphaned kittens. They have been in a loving foster home where they are surrounded by an abundance of love from their foster family of two adults, two teens and four resident kitties. Sal is a sweet kitten eager to explore and discover new adventures. His big, captivating eyes will melt your heart and this adorable cutie loves to cozy up in the crook of your arm or on your shoulder like a parrot! Sal feels safe in small, soft spaces while he is napping, and loves playing with his brother, Caramelo. It is so sweet when he purrs himself to sleep in your arms. Sal’s bonded brother and best buddy, Caramello is a soft, fluffy ginger furball waiting to steal your heart! His coat is cashmere soft like chinchilla, and his purr is generously loud! He loves chasing the fuzzy toy at the end of the wand and kicking balls around. Caramelo can play all day, all the time with his bonded brother, Sal and also snuggles up with him for cozy naps. This fur ball of joy also loves snuggling up with his humans and welcomes all the kisses you can give him! This sweet, bonded pair of brothers will fill your heart and home with love and joy! They can’t wait to meet their purrfect family. Submit an application today to meet Sal and Caramelo.  Questions? Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We currently have more than three dozen tiny baby kittens in foster care! They will all be available for adoption in May!During kitten season, IBOK Rescue has young kittens who are not yet posted to this site as they are too young for adoption yet. For more information on our younger kittens, please contact us. Thank you! Did you know that black kitties are always the last to be adopted? They often end up stuck foster care for many months or even years because of superstitions or because some people prefer tabbies, calicos and other more colorful kitties. But, black kitties are gorgeous! They are just as playful and loving as other kitties. Save a life! Add a wonderful black kitty to your family today! All of our kittens are only available for adoption in pairs as it is our policy not to place kittens under six months of age in a forever home where there is currently not another young kitten. Also, many of our kittens are in 'bonded pairs' or bonded with their littermates. We reserve the right not to separate bonded pairs or place kittens individually. The happiness and quality of life for our kittens is our top priority. =^..^=All of our kitties are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on their vaccinations, tested for FeLV/FIV, dewormed, deflead and microchipped prior to being delivered to their loving forever home.NOTE: The kittens in these photos are representative of kittens not yet posted to the website. These kittens are no longer available for adoption and have already been placed in their forever homes!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 23, 2024, 1:34 pm

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Portia is seeking a loving forever home where she can be the only cat and get all of the love and attention for herself. She might do well with a cat-friendly dog, but she had a trauma experience with another cat and we feel she would prefer not sharing her home with other cats. she is very friendly and loves people and she can play for hours!  If you're interested in meeting this charming girl, please complete an online adoption application or reach out to us via email at info@ibokrescue.org. All of our kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on their vaccinations, dewormed, deflead and microchipped prior to being delivered to their loving forever home. Most of our kittens are only available for adoption in pairs as it is our policy not to place kittens under six months of age in a forever home without another same aged kitten. We also do not place kittens older than six months into homes where there is currently not another young cat in residence. Most of our kittens are in 'bonded pairs' or bonded with their littermates. We reserve the right not to separate bonded pairs or place kittens individually. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Momma cat to the Grey’s Anatomy kittens. She is a loving, attentive and adoring mother. Her sweet disposition is seen in all her babies. She and her babies were brought to the shelter after being found outdoors. She quickly adapted to life inside and is learning that it is a pretty good life.  She may be a little nervous at first but she settles in quickly. She loves pets and will purr loudly and make biscuits to show off her white socks. She loves to be brushed and admired. We found the fast track to her heart is through treats. Her favorite is Churu and she’ll come running and sit in your lap. She’s still learning about being carried but maybe that’s where her son, Sloan, gets his fear of heights. She has been a wonderful roommate and uses the litter box without fail. Meredith is independent, calm and easy going…an ideal kitty.  If you're interested in meeting this delightful girl, please complete an online adoption application or reach out to us via email at info@ibokrescue.org.
