Story
Say hi to Trouble! Despite his name, Trouble is very well-behaved :) He is a very healthy four-year old grey tabby who likes to play, and will curl up at your feet all day long to keep you company. We got him at the Huron Valley Humane Society. I'm hoping to find an adopter who lives in a ground floor apartment, or in a house, because he is used to having a catio where he can watch the birds. I can give the adopter one of our catios to install. I'm looking for a new home for him because my son is heading off to college, and I'll be traveling a lot more, and I don't want to have to board him, or leave him for long periods with just a cat sitter coming in once a day. He's very sweet and likes hard head scritches. He can be co-adopted with his current feline housemate, Black Jack, or by himself. (They get along okay, but are not closely bonded.) Trouble would do best in a reasonably quiet home.

Story
Hi, I`m Fluffy! I`m an independent cat who loves playtime. You`ll often find me gazing out windows or high up in a cat-tree. Although I may seem quiet at first, I open up quickly when I feel safe and like nothing more than being near and watching over the people I`m with. I have plenty of affection to give in my own way; I love to rub up against legs and `bonk` people with my head. I enjoy a good pet, especially while I`m eating, and you will often hear me purr during breakfast.Fluffy is currently living in one of our wonderful foster homes. Adopting from foster is easy! Please email adoptions@hshv.org or call 734-662-5585 to get the ball rolling!

Story
Hello, my name is Mia! I am trying my best to be a cat that would be happy in a variety of households. I have a lot to offer and I am sure to be a great companion when given the time, space and patience I need to adjust. So bring the whole family meet and see I just might be the right fit for you! Mia is Feline Leukemia (FeLV) positive. FeLV is a serious virus that is contagious to other cats (but not contagious to people or other species of animals). It may cause a shortened lifespan but FeLV cats have so much fun and love to give. Please call or come in to find out more.

Hi my name is Mickey! I am a shy cat looking for a patient owner who is willing to give me time to adjust and open up in my new home. Once I get comfortable, I will come out of my shell and start to show more of my true personality. After all, the best things in life are worth waiting for – like a special bond with a cat who likes the calmer side of life.

Hi my name is Mary Linda! I am a shy cat looking for a patient owner who is willing to give me time to adjust and open up in my new home. I can be rather shy so I would prefer a quieter home without younger children. Once I get comfortable, I will come out of my shell and start to show more of my true personality. Hi I am Jenny and I am thrilled to meet you! I love being with people, so much that sometimes, I get grumpy when I have to be left alone. Play time helps me burn off my energy, so get ready to rumble with wand toys, jingle balls, and mouse toys! I would do best in a home without other cats and children under 5. Otherwise, I might be a great fit for you if you would like a little lady like me who is ready to go, go, go! Please come to meet me soon so I can show you how spunky and lovely I am!
