Story
Meet Asterisk. . . This girl was born in the fall of 2017. She is a sweet girl with an old soul. Asterick does need meds daily as she has asthma. A tad timid at first, but warms up quickly. Always full of purrs. She's definitely a cat that loves to lounge around, perching high on a kitty tower to observe the world unfolding. Asterisk gets along great with other cats and will do best in a home with another feline companion. Wee humans will prove to be too much for Asterisk, but she'll do well with kids that are older. Fill out an application if a low maintenance, easy going kitty pal fits your family..ASTERISK !http://providingforpaws.org/adoption-and-foster-forms.html

Annie is a chatty girl who loves attention. Shes very sassy and loves her independence but also wants to make sure you are paying attention to her! With her pink nose we call her Mouse - and she comes running! She likes children that can interact with her, and don’t mind her being bossy! Miss Annie is a sweet personality even thought she can have a grumpy face! She will lean in for kisses (when she’s in the mood) and enjoys just chilling near you and hanging out! She loves attention from her foster mom and dad. Enjoy being brushed and pets. Ginger would love to be the solo Queen of her home, basking in the sunshine of being family. Story
My name is Bridgette. I was born in the winter of 2017. I've raised a lovely family of five furry babies and now it's my turn to be somebody's fur kid. My foster Mama tells me how proud she is of me when I rub against her feet and arch my back into her petting. I'm initially timid and hoping my new family will be patient, letting me gain confidence as they get to know me. I love the company of other fun kitties. Play time is fun and I also like to snuggle with them. My medical is all done; spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for both FELV and FIV. My adoption fee is only $125. Fall in love with me, BRIDGETTE, visit providingforpaws.org to complete an adoption application.

Found her in the factory I work in and took her in. Unfortunately she doesn’t get along with my elderly (crabby) cat but is so ridiculously sweet. She’s super cuddly and loves to be on you. She is also basically like a dog, loves to play and run around. The vet thinks shes about 2. Looking for a loving home.

Bootsie loves people, he gets along with other cats, and he’s never met a dog but he would probs lay like them too. Bootsie likes to sit near you on the couch, lay next to you and sleep with you at night; he likes to play with toys and look out the window, and he likes to be petted. He is very gentle. He is neutered and vaccinated and microchipped and ready for a great home. Bootsie is combo tested negative for Felv & FIV, and vaccinated for FeLv. This is every vaccine recommended for a cat. He just wants someone to love him. Here’s the link to the preliminary adoption application online to get an appointment to meet Bootsie in Westland. Mr. Bootsie will be waiting for you! https://savingcatskittens.wixsite.com/savingcats-kittensmi/adoptions

Story
Marbles is a part of our Hardworking Cats program. This program is generally for cats that would not be suited for traditional adoption, but that would thrive as barn cats, warehouse mousers, or indoor/outdoor companions. Hardworking cats often enjoy a level freedom and independence that other cats may not require but can bring the benefit of chemical free pest control and successfully deter other unwanted animal guests from your property. At this time, because of her lack of socialization and timid nature, we believe that Marbles would be best suited as a barn cat. If Marbles is going to live in a barn, it is important that she be slowly introduced to the environment and contained for 1-2 weeks while adjusting as she may flee from her new home if allowed to roam free too quickly. It is also important that even though she will be an outdoor barn cat, her adopter will still need to provide food, water, and necessary vet care. Marbles is a calm, laid back cat that generally minds her own business and keeps to herself, but does come around when she knows it's time to eat!Marbles came to Michigan Humane as a stray, feral cat. This means that she did not get the individualized socialization she needed as a kitten and is now unsocial and fearful of people. She was unfortunately not able to be safely returned to her previous living environment, so she's not looking for the perfect barn to spend her days in! Marbles is not an outgoing girl, rather she is an independent lady that keeps to herself. She likes to hide and keep from sight but will come out at nighttime to feed, explore, and socialize with other cats!
