Story
Ribbon is a SUPER PRETTY girl. Her mother is a young Lynx and Ribbons has a under coat that is highlighted in cream. Really unusual coat and she's a tuxedo on top of that. She's been dumped with her mother and brother at a farm in a distance location. Luckily for them the nice lady at the farm took them in. They are keeping them safe and in a barn. But they are friendly and sweet kittens and need to be indoor only, non smoking home for the kitties. Ribbon, Buttons and Bows is the family .of kitties. For more information on these kitties call or text me at 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
Saron is brother to Eli, Shoshie and Lee. They are four kittens who were born to a feral mother, but she did do a great job of raising them. We know Saron enjoy's Lee the most and they are probably bonded. Very active and friendly, sweet boys. He'd also be happy with his sister Shoshie. Very clean and using the litter box and playing ALOT. We are looking for non-smoking homes for them. Call or text for more information at 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number and any questions to marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
Ofelia has been through hell and she's still the most loving, wonderful kitty. She was found in pain for weeks, wandering around a neighborhood. People saw she looking beat up and yet no one bothered to take her in, or feed her. Finally, a nice lady noticed her as she went door to door begging for help and called us. Her right ear was split open at the back of her ear. At first we thought a dog or animal had gotten ahold of her and ripped her neck open. We discovered she had a cauliflower tumor growing out of her ear. It split open the back of her ear and down her neck. She went through major surgery and it turned out they were able to remove it all, but in the process of getting it all, she lost her entire ear. She's still cute as can be because her personality shines. She is healing like a CHAMP and still so affectionate and cuddly. We want to make sure she gets a home where someone will love her, keep her inside only and have a none smoking home. She really is a happy, and now healthy kitty. Great companion for a affectionate person. For more information call or text me at 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
Egan and his brother Elio are the only two kittens in their litter. Their pregnant mother lost her home due to her elderly owner was evicted and she had to go to a daughters barn to live in while being pregnant. She had the two kittens in the barn which is a enclosed barn that a mechanic has. She only has them staying inside the barn and not going outside at all. These two babies are so sweet. Now we find that the house that they are living in the barn at.........the house there, caught fire. So now the couple has to move into the barn as well, but they have five indoor cats themselves. So we now have to find these two tiny babies a home of their own because there are two many living in the barn while the house has to be rebuilt. So we are looking for a loving home for these two playful, happy, fluffy, medium length furred fur balls. We are looking for a non smoking indoor only home for them. These babies are a joy, happy all the time. For you are looking for a happy kittens these two are all over the place. Story
Fig is a Domestic Short Hair (DSH)-mix, male, DOB: 4/15/23. Not so much shy as more reserved, Fig is a handsome, calm, easy-to-please cat. Friendly and sweet, but also pretty independent, he has a definite comfort-zone he likes to operate in and is generally happier to observe activities early-on rather than directly interacting in them, that is until a feathered toy comes into play or a warm lap is offered from his favorite people. If the mood suits him Fig can be very lively and curious about his environment, and once he's comfortable, he’ll be looking for adventure wherever he can find it. He has a great love of toys and, makes use of his independent time by honing his feline skills -- prowling and stalking shadows, dust bunnies, toys, sometimes even other cats, whatever is available. Fig also appreciates interactive playtime with his people too. A cat tower will go a long way toward making Fig happy too as perching and watching the world from his own little sanctuary is one of his favorite just hanging-out pastimes. Fig, along with his littermates, Sprite, Moxie, and Bluebell: came to Monroe SPCA as orphans needing critical care - emaciated, dehydrated, mom hit by a car. They spent their first months with Monroe SPCA in medical foster being treated for URIs, getting them to healthy weights, along with being treated for Giardia, Coccidia, Roundworm, and fleas. Now a happy, healthy feline, Fig is looking for his forever home with a family who can give him the time and attention a young cat needs. Although Fig can be adopted individually, we recommend a pairing with several of our other young cats having compatible personalities and temperament. Fig is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a calm, low-active to moderately active lifestyle and no active young children under the age of six (6). He is comfortable with other compatible cats and kittens, and he’ll be comfortable in the presence of well-mannered, cat-friendly dogs after being given some adjustment time to warm-up and settle into his new surroundings. As with all Monroe SPCA adoptable animals, a home visit and a meet-n-greet with any housemate pets will be required prior to adoption. Fig currently resides at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Retail Store. You can meet him by appointment with pre-approved adoption application. To start the adoption process, complete and submit Monroe SPCA’s adoption application linked above. All Monroe SPCA cats available for adoption have an adoption fee of $85.00. This fee includes the cat being spayed or neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, tested for FeLV and FIV, and microchipped with lifelong registration prior to adoption. Completed applications can be emailed to info@monroespca.org or dropped off at Monroe SPCA’s Adoption Center and Retail Store located at 293 W. Monroe Street, Dundee, MI. Story
Luca is a Domestic Short Hair (DSH)-mix, male, DOB: 8/27/23. Lively kitten playfulness along with plenty of delightful curiosity and fearless pursuit of adventure is one way to describe this adorably engaging, extremely friendly young feline. But only in-part. Throw in his wanting plenty of time on his daily itinerary for some independent exploring, but never too far away from his brother, Orzo, his people, or family activities; and a snapshot of who Luca is comes to light. But there is more yet. Very much a gentle soul, with a bit of a mischievous side too, Luca is a highly social and outgoing feline as well as being good-natured and entirely easy-to-please. Readily welcoming any pets offered as well as interactive playtime, Luca's purr motor gets pretty revved-up when he’s getting pets or being spoken too - and that is the best way to his heart; soft-spoken words and gentle pets are the easiest way to get to know this fast-growing feline, as unfamiliar situations can make him hesitate to engage immediately. But once he knows all is well, he is quick to purr and head bump his approval. Luca came to Monroe SPCA as part of a litter of four: Lira, Cannoli, and Orzo, born as a surprise litter to a family who couldn't support four more cats. He spent his first few months in Monroe SPCA in a foster home being bottle feed as needed, and was treated for fleas, Giardia, Coccidia, and Roundworm while in our care. Once the litter was weaned, we were able to assist in getting mom spayed. Now a happy, healthy feline, Luca is looking for his forever home with a family who can give him the time and attention a young cat needs. Although Luca can be adopted individually, we recommend a pairing with several of our other young cats having compatible personalities and temperament. Luca is best suited as an indoor pet and companion for a home with a calm, low-active to moderately active lifestyle and no active young children under the age of six (6).
