Story
Vivica was a stray roaming the streets of Birmingham, but she's vocal and obviously was a house kitty before being put out on the streets. Now she's been rescued and vetted by a nice lady who says she's great in the house. Getting along with the other kitties and two dogs in the house. She's pleasant and will warm up in a calm home where there are calm views from the windows. So she'd be best in a HOUSE or condo facing woods or a pond. She might be okay in a home with a cat friendly dog or a male kitty who is super laid back. Or she'd be okay with a companion who's a calm adult human who is pretty settled in their home and life. She's fairly young as well, so she's got many years ahead of her. For more information call or text me at 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
Bali is a beautiful young kitty. Just over a year old, she has been bonded with house mate Mika. They spent the most of last year in someone's basement and it wasn't easy for them to get socialized with the people who owned the house. We had them bring them upstairs into the house to be a part of the family and they have warmed up as we knew they would. They are not able to stay where they have been, so we are looking for a non-smoking home for them so they can live a normal, loving family life in the sunlight and warm of a loving home with people who will make them family members. They like people, maybe a little slow to warm up once we move them to a forever home. Right now they are healthy and ready for a family of their own. Story
Naomi is a kitten, she was a teenage Mom. She was a pregnant stray who happened upon a house and she literally pushed herself into their screen door as she was about to deliver babies and was obviously a dumped kitten herself. The lady of the house did let her in to have her kittens in the front hall closet. And she did. The family let her stay until the kittens were five weeks old. Not yet old enough to be away from their mother and they started giving her kittens away. Naomi was upset so they put her back outside away from her babies. Cruel. She also had a wicked ear yeast infection, and it was really bad, so bad in fact that she's still on medication that we got her on for it. She was holding her ears out sideways for days trying to itch them. We got a call to come get her as she was trying to paw at the door to get back inside with her babies. It was sad, the whole situation. The thing is, Naomi is a super sweet girl. She's affectionate to the tenth degree. Even though her ears were so bad, her temperature was up, she was still purring and affectionate toward everyone. She doesn't mind dogs, she's great with people and kids and cats. she's a beautiful soul in every way. It's sad she didn't get to be with her babies for longer and nurse them out, it's sad the family wouldn't let us take her kittens and her together. We've vetted her and got her fixed, she is as sweet a kitty as anyone would want. She is not only a love bug but she has beautiful green eyes. We are looking for a non smoking, loving home for her with a family who would appreciate all she's been through and be her person or people for the rest of her life. Story
Iman and his siblings we found with a very feral mother and the person who found them was in the process of moving. The weather was rainy and so she felt she should grab the kittens even if their Mother couldn't be handled. We did fix her and test her and placed her back in her colony. They were barely eating on their own but very energetic and happy. Since we have vetted and they are wonderful, sweet, happy, healthy kittens now. We are looking for non-smoking, indoor only homes for them. There are six of them and they seem to be pairing off. Iman and her siblings are all black, except for Zip and Zap, four girls, 2 boys. We are looking for adopters who is happy to adopt a bonded pair of siblings so they can have a life long sibling relationship that is important in all families whether one is human in a family or a four legged fur ball who is best off staying with a family member they were born with. Every kitten in this litter is adorable and sweet, has a personality blooming that shines. Story
Ebony was born a preemie with her brother Ivory who only made it to three weeks old. They came to me motherless at only four days old, it was heartbreaking to see them not even having fur. They only weighed 2 oz. and luckily I had two sisters who were nursing mothers and they accepted them and protected them and nursed them constantly. Then suddenly at three weeks old Ivory starting not eating, unable to digest mothers milk without bloating terribly and it was obvious to all the kittens and the moms that Ivory wasn't going to be okay. Ebony was growing stronger by the hour and Ivory was getting weaker. We rushed to the vets, they did everything possible and thought Ivory would recover, but hours later, he passed away. Ebony took to Dusty who had been patiently sitting for hours on end with Ivory and now that Ivory is going, Dusty is protecting and playing with Ebony. It's like Dusty senses a tragedy has occurred and he's stepping up to fill in. For more information call or text me at 517 294 4514 or email me your phone number to marlas2468@yahoo.com

Story
August is the smallest of her litter of six. All are domestic short haired and so sweet. She is all black, cute as a button, tiny but mighty. Playful and curious she's a joy to watch and so sweet to cuddle with. She is bonding to Iman and they are a bonded pair. Both are all black. They lost their mother very young but did start to eat well on their own soon after. They are active and although August is the smallest, she definitely keeps up with the biggest male. We are looking for non smoking homes that will be indoor only. They are fine around dogs and other cats and older kids.
