Story
I adopted Moo Shu Mouse 7 years ago. She had come from a hoarding situation. She is very close to my oldest male cat who is on his last legs. She has never really gotten close to the other cats in my art studio. I think she would be a great solo pet. She seems to have Feline Herpes which at times makes her a bit snotty and sneezy. A person with experience might be able to give her the attention and care she needs. But she is quite standoffish with me and fearful of getting too close to me because the other cats can be mean. I found out not long ago that health problems I have been having were related to cat allergies. I have amassed 5 cats over the years and it's too much. 3 are very old but the 2 younger ones I would like to rehome... to lighten the dander and allergen level in my work space.

Story
Say hi to Trouble! Despite his name, Trouble is very well-behaved :) He's a very healthy four-year old grey tabby who loves to play, and then will curl up at your feet for long naps to keep you company. If you live on a ground floor, I can give you his catio, where he goes out to have a closer look at the birds ;) Trouble can be adopted alone, or with his current feline housemate, Black Jack. They get along fine but are not closely bonded. Trouble would do best in a fairly quiet home, without young children.

Story
Hank is the sweetest little girl you will meet. She was starving and in bad shape when we found her about 1.5 years ago on a Native American reservation where I do work. We took her in and nursed her back to health. She is now the healthiest little girl. She is estimated to be about 3 years of age. She is extremely affectionate; she picks being pet and snuggled over playing and even eating. We love her and would keep her but she is not able to get along with our cats. We have 3 other cats and despite trying for over a year, she becomes extremely scared and extremely aggressive towards our other cats. So, Hank currently lives in our finished basement. Although she does not seem to mind seeing us only a few times a day, we think she would be most happy in a house where she could be around her humans as much as she would like. She MUST go to a home with no other cats. We are heartbroken over this but want what is best for her. She is a little survivor who has stolen our hearts.

Story
Hi, I`m Fluffy! I`m an independent cat who loves playtime. You`ll often find me gazing out windows or high up in a cat-tree. Although I may seem quiet at first, I open up quickly when I feel safe and like nothing more than being near and watching over the people I`m with. I have plenty of affection to give in my own way; I love to rub up against legs and `bonk` people with my head. I enjoy a good pet, especially while I`m eating, and you will often hear me purr during breakfast.Fluffy is currently living in one of our wonderful foster homes. Adopting from foster is easy! Please email adoptions@hshv.org or call 734-662-5585 to get the ball rolling!

Story
Hello, my name is Mia! I am trying my best to be a cat that would be happy in a variety of households. I have a lot to offer and I am sure to be a great companion when given the time, space and patience I need to adjust. So bring the whole family meet and see I just might be the right fit for you! Mia is Feline Leukemia (FeLV) positive. FeLV is a serious virus that is contagious to other cats (but not contagious to people or other species of animals). It may cause a shortened lifespan but FeLV cats have so much fun and love to give. Please call or come in to find out more.
