Story
True to her name, Ella is pure magic wrapped in tortoiseshell fur. This sweet, short-haired domestic princess is about 3 years old and has already lived quite the fairy-tale adventure. 👑🐾 Ella’s journey began when she accidentally hopped onto a delivery truck and found herself whisked all the way to Michigan. With no microchip and no way to trace her past, her story with us began there. Understandably, she arrived a bit shaken and shy—but give her a moment, and her true colors shine beautifully. 💕 Beneath that initial timidity is an incredibly affectionate soul who lives for head scratches, gentle pets, and quiet companionship. Ella doesn’t demand attention—she invites it. She’ll softly bat her paw, weave around your feet, then flop onto her back, belly up, asking for just a little more love. 🥹🐾 She has impeccable manners: ✔️ Fully litter box trained (zero accidents!) ✔️ Uses her scratching post like a pro ✔️ No scratching, no biting ✔️ No counter surfing, no tree climbing, no chaos ✔️ Just calm, gentle perfection And her cutest feature? Her voice. Ella’s tiny, squeaky meow earned her the nickname “Squeak”—because she literally sounds like a squeaky toy. It’s impossible not to smile when she talks. 🐭💬 Ella does well with gentle children and other cats. While we’re unsure about dogs, her soft nature suggests she’d thrive in a calm, loving home where patience and kindness are the norm. If you’re looking for a gentle companion, a quiet shadow, a heart-healer who simply wants to be loved—Ella Enchanted may be your purr-fect match. 🐾💖

Story
Mickey is a truly special boy, a resilient FeLV positive cat who's been through a lot and is now ready for the loving, dedicated home he deserves. This handsome fella was fending for himself in a colony on the streets, but those days are behind him. He's now safe, warm, and dreaming of a family to call his own. Being FeLV positive means Mickey's immune system can be compromised, but with the right care, he can live a long, happy life. He needs an adopter who understands his unique needs and is committed to providing him with a safe, indoor-only environment. Mickey absolutely must be the only cat in the home, or live with another FeLV positive feline companion. This is crucial to protect his health and prevent the spread of the virus. Despite his past, Mickey is incredibly sweet and deserving of all the love in the world. He's ready to put his street days behind him and embrace a life of comfort, good food, and plenty of affection. If you have a quiet home and a big heart, Mickey is waiting to show you just how much love a FeLV positive cat can give.

Story
Meet Chai, a delicate and sweet silver-gray female kitten ready to trade her shy nature for a loving bond! At under one year old, Chai is a true testament to resilience. She was rescued from the cruel outdoors, rehabilitated, and now absolutely loves the indoor life of luxury. Chai is a quiet soul who carries a secret: a sweet, squeaky little voice that she uses only when she feels safe and comfortable. While she may be a little shy at first, the right person with patience and understanding will be rewarded with a deep, lasting connection. She appreciates the safety of her new life and just needs a gentle hand to guide her fully out of her shell. If you have a peaceful home to offer, you can be the hero who gives Chai the confidence to blossom. She is completely ready to join your family: she is fixed (spayed), vaccinated, and perfectly litter trained. Don't miss your chance to meet this special girl along with the others! Story
ON DISPLAY AT TOLONEN FAMILY PET IN FARMINGTON MI! Meet Marigold: Our Sweet Little Sunshine 🌼 Looking for a splash of color and a whole lot of love? Marigold is a stunning calico kitten who is just as sweet as her name suggests. While her brothers are hanging out at the pet store, this dainty girl is currently in a private setting waiting for her perfect match! Why Marigold is Special Marigold is a resilient little fighter. Like her brothers, she was weaned a bit early, making her a little underweight for her age. She may be small, but her personality is mighty! She is a "velcro kitten" who thrives on human connection and needs a home that can prioritize her nutrition and give her the extra lap time she deserves. Status: Spayed & fully vaccinated. Personality: Super sweet, affectionate, and a total social butterfly. Health Note: She requires a little extra TLC and some high-calorie kitten love to help her reach her goal weight. Ready for a Meet & Greet? Marigold is not at the pet store, which means she gets to show off her true personality in a calm environment. If you’re ready to see if she’s the one for you, we can set up a time for you to meet her! Note: Marigold is looking for an indoor-only home where she can be the center of someone's world (or perhaps join a household with one of her brothers!).

Story
Indy — The Independent Spirit with a Survivor’s Heart Indy doesn’t need the spotlight—he’s perfectly content just being near the people he trusts, quietly reminding you he’s there. Meet Indy Indy is Rusty’s devoted brother, and they must be adopted together. Like Rusty, Indy is calm and low-key, but he’s also more independent—happy to do his own thing, yet never far from his favorite humans. He’s around 2 years old and looking for a peaceful home where he and Rusty can finally relax. Personality & Quirks Aloof but Loyal: Indy doesn’t beg for attention, but he’ll quietly follow you from room to room, keeping a watchful eye. Gentle Companion: Loves lounging in a sunny window or flipping upside-down for a nap. Quiet Life Required: Not a fan of roughhousing—he prefers calm over chaos. Particular About His Potty: Open litter box only, scooped regularly. He’s litter box trained but may have accidents when stressed, so laundry piles and cluttered floors aren’t a good fit. Indy’s Backstory Indy’s start in life was nothing short of miraculous. Found at the same manufacturing plant as Rusty, Indy was discovered with his neck caught in steel fan blades—dangling, losing consciousness. The fact that he survived is a testament to his strength. Now, it’s time for him to live the quiet, safe life he deserves. Special Notes Indy has a history of bladder crystals and should remain on a special urinary diet to help prevent future flare-ups. This is an easy, manageable routine for a committed adopter. Why They Need You Indy and Rusty are bonded brothers who lean on each other for comfort. Rescue life, with its constant changes and new cats, is too stressful for them both. They are available only through a foster-to-adopt arrangement so we can help ensure their transition into your home is smooth and successful. Ideal Home for Indy & Rusty Quiet environment without young children or loud commotion Patient adopters willing to respect their boundaries Regular litter box maintenance (open boxes only) Space for window lounging and birdwatching If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a pair of resilient, gentle souls, Rusty and Indy are ready to meet you. Begin the foster-to-adopt journey today and watch as these brothers finally find the peace they’ve been waiting for. IMPORTANT: An application must be filled out and approved before we make special arrangements to meet a cat/kitten. Feral Today Friend Tomorrow adopts to homes that are best fit for the animals’ needs, not on a first-come, first-served basis. As all our foster cats are in private homes, we require an approved application before setting up a meet and greet. Story
Leo (female) – The Gentle Observer Leo is a quiet, reserved beauty who finds joy in the simple things—like making biscuits on her favorite blanket or watching the world from a sunny window. She’s a dedicated birdwatcher and will happily chirp along to the morning song outside. While she loves to nap near you, Leo values her personal space and can become overstimulated, occasionally giving a gentle nip when she’s had enough. She would do best in a calm home without young children or anyone who can’t respect her boundaries. Lily (male) – The Social Butterfly Lily is a playful, affectionate boy who adores company. He’ll happily follow you from room to room, chattering away and making sure he’s always involved in your day. He can entertain himself for hours with his toy fish but is equally happy to engage with you. Lily loves being the center of attention and will make sure you never feel lonely. While he’s not a fan of long cuddle sessions, he will tolerate being picked up for short periods. Together Leo and Lily balance each other beautifully—Leo brings calm and quiet charm, while Lily adds playfulness and chatter. They’re looking for a patient, loving home where they can continue to grow together. 📍 Best Home For Them: No young children Respectful, patient humans A window perch for birdwatching Plenty of playtime for Lily If you’re ready for a sweet mix of calm companionship and playful energy, Leo and Lily are ready to meet you! Story
All 3 are available. They are 7 months old. 2 males 1 female. The black one and one of the grey are males. They are not spayed or neutered yet and currently do not have shots. My parents took them in when they were babies with their feral mother(who comes and goes). These kittens have not been outside only inside. They are litter box trained. My parents never intended to keep them and they are taking over the house 😉. My parents live in Redford but I can help have them transported if interested. They are very spunky and love to play and get into everything. Let me know if you are interested.
