Berry is a handsome boy who takes some time to warm up to people, but loves to be pet when he gets to know you! He loves to hibernate and take the best naps, but comes out for treats when he's ready! He is super soft and ready for snuggling.    The adoption fee is $125 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. The adoption fee helps cover the cost of these vetting procedures.    Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out, unless deemed medically necessary.  We will gladly provide you with alternative methods of managing cats with claws.   **We are currently operating by appointment only. Story
Nila is an orange female ... and she's a beauty!  Currently, she is scared and learning to trust in the shelter environment. She has been trying to find her place at the shelter and is now accepting pets on her own terms. Each day she becomes more confident in her surroundings. Her favorite spot is in a cat bed by the window where she will call you over for pets. The adoption fee is $125 and covers age appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter.    Applications are typically worked in time stamp order based on date/time of submission.  If you have other cats in your home, they must all be up to date and spayed/neutered prior to application submission.  All members of the family must meet the pet.   Please note, we do NOT allow declawing of any cat or kitten that we adopt out.  But we will coach you on alternative methods of managing cats with claws. *****We are currently operating by appointment only during the social distancing stage of quarantine.   If you want to meet this pet, or are interested in adopting, please submit an inquiry.   Your application will be reviewed and you will be contacted to set up a time to meet at the shelter..   The introduction between you and the pet will be supervised by one of the cat team.   If all goes well, you can adopt the same day. ##1087348##

Story
Katniss came to us from a full home, she has lived with dogs, other cats, and kids! She is not fond of the shelter life, but she was very friendly and happy before arriving into our care. She is starting to warm up to volunteers and staff and letting her true colors shine through. She was introduced to a harness for walks and seemed to think this is a good idea. She may grumble at you to get off her lawn, but she is happy to have you visit. The adoption fee is $125 + tax and covers age-appropriate vaccines, a microchip, and a spay/neuter. Story
Tiger came to us when his owner passed away unexpectedly. As one can imagine, losing your person like that is upsetting, to put it mildly.  Tiger was in mourning when he arrived and we are working with him to trust again. This petite 9 pound handsome boy has the largest eyes! He is starting to accept petting and interaction with humans. He ignores all other cats at the shelter. You can usually find him at the highest accessable space keeping an eye on things. Nothing happens in the shelter he doesn't know about!
