Story
Meet Kanga, a sweet girl with a heart full of love and a spirit brimming with playfulness. She adores snuggling and having fun, making her the perfect companion for someone who loves both affection and playful antics. Kanga will need a feline friend in her new home. If you don't already have a playful kitty for her to bond with, consider adopting one of her "Pooh Crew siblings to join in on the fun and cuddles! She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and tested FeLV/FIV negative. Please note that the Misfit Felines policy requires that young kittens will either need a sibling to go home with or there must be another playful/young feline already in the home. Adopters will receive an adoption package of goodies valued at around $100 if you visit one or both of our Petstore partners after adoption (Tabby & Jacks and All Paws). Misfit Felines Inc is a foster based 501(c)3 rescue. All of our cats are in foster homes. The first step in the adoption process is to submit an application. Story
Maze is an adventurous kitten who loves to explore and investigate everything around him. He especially loves interacting with his feline friends and will follow you anywhere in order to be close to the action. Maze will play with anything of intrigue. He has quite a bit of energy and loves to run around exploring and playing, but balances it out with lots of sleepy time. Maze is one of the most affectionate kittens you will ever come across. He loves his pets and especially cuddles. This is a kitten with lots of love to give.  Maze’s ideal match would most likely be a household with lots of time available to shower him with affection and cuddles, and with other pets that he can spend time playing with and burning off his excess energy.

Story
Ezra! Let this mustachioed gentleman be your new best friend! Ezra enjoys playing with any type of cat toys or blanket. This ginger out of Milwaukee loves bird watching, playing with running water, and doing hot laps at midnight. Ezra enjoys being papa cat to the kittens in his foster home. While Ezra is very playful, he does need some help channeling his energy with wands and other engaging interactive toys with his human. He can get overstimulated and frustrated if he doesn’t get enough hunting/prey-play time which could lead to occasional swiping and nips. It’s important to not use hands or arms as toys with him and to pay attention to his body language when petting. Approximate DOB: 2019 Foster Home Location: lake mills

Story
Hi there! My name is Piper. You might be looking at my pictures and think, “man, that is one cute cat,” but I have something that really sets me apart from the rest of the bunch. I only have two legs! How cool is that? Man, all of those other cats wish they could be like me. Too bad for them, I’m one in a million. I lost my legs when I was pretty young, and I get around great. I chase toys and even climb onto the bed and couch all by myself. No help needed. I do need help with one little thing, though. My bladder needs to be expressed. A quick squeeze three times a day, and I am all set to go. My favorite hobbies, you may be wondering, are playing with spring toys and my foster siblings, taking naps, and cuddling with my humans. My foster sister often asks me, “Piper, where did you put your legs?” and I always tell her, “medical waste, silly!” But, on a serious note, please don’t feel sorry for me, I am who I am, and I am a good sport about it, and you should be too. I am just like any other cat (except much cooler). I am a perfect feline companion, wise words spoken by my foster fam on more than one occasion. They say I “self-entertain,” whatever that means. Just in case you missed it in the beginning, my name is Piper, and I really hope you’ll consider me to be your new feline friend.

His days are filled with exploring every nook and cranny, always on the lookout for new mysteries to solve. Despite his adventurous spirit, Tilapia often retreats to quiet corners, observing the world with wide, wondering eyes. This blend of bravery and modesty makes him a delightful companion. Adopt Tilapia and give him the loving home where his curiosity can thrive and his shyness can melt away.

Story
Some duos are simply meant to be—and Goldie and Moldie are one of those heart-melting, can’t-have-one-without-the-other pairs. This bonded brother and sister have been side by side their entire lives, and they’re looking for a home where they can continue their journey together… preferably one with plenty of climbing opportunities and a steady supply of snacks. Moldie (short for Moldavite) is the brave little explorer of the two. He’s the first to venture into new territory, carefully investigating every nook and cranny before reporting back to Goldie with his official “all clear.” While he may startle at first, a little reassurance from his human goes a long way—once he knows he’s safe, he settles in and gets right back to his important work (like scaling doors and diving into hanging laundry baskets). Goldie is a bit more sensitive when it comes to new experiences, but she takes her cues from her brother and blossoms beautifully with time, patience, and a calm environment. Together, they balance each other perfectly—two tiny souls building confidence side by side. These two are currently in their “part kitten, part monkey” phase. If it can be climbed, they will climb it. Cat trees? Amazing. Closet shelves? Even better. The back of a door with hanging items? Moldie has already claimed that as his personal jungle gym. Their future home should be ready for vertical adventures and daily zoomies fueled by what we suspect is extra energy stored in their adorable polydactyl toe beans. When playtime winds down, their softer side shines. While they’re not fans of being picked up, Goldie and Moldie are champion snugglers on their own terms. Expect them draped across your legs, curled in your lap, and snoozing peacefully after a long day of antics. They adore other cats—especially calm, nurturing ones. Having been raised with “manny cats,” they’ve mastered the art of politely approaching for cuddles: gentle head lowers, slow blinks, loud purring, and then… flop. It’s as sweet as it sounds. They’re also equal-opportunity entertainers. Toys, boxes, (supervised) crinkly bags, anything that makes noise—if it exists, it’s fun. They even love catnip so much that their foster has to keep it under lock and key. Moldie is especially food-motivated and goes wild for treats like Churu bites and chicken lollipops, which makes bonding with him extra easy. Their ideal home will be calm and patient—likely no dogs—and filled with cozy perches for bird watching, space to run, and humans who understand that trust takes a little time but is so worth the wait. More than anything, they just want someone to be near them, sharing in their world as they grow into confident, loving companions. Goldie and Moldie aren’t just kittens—they’re a tiny team. They comfort each other, play together, and even prefer to face life’s big moments (like vet visits) side by side. Separating them isn’t an option—they belong together, always. If your home could use a little more laughter, a lot more love, and a few extra toe beans… Goldie and Moldie are ready to fill it.
