Scout, an 11 month old male Dutch Shepard, found his way into the hearts of The Lovejoy Foundation after being abandoned at the front gate. Despite a rocky start, Scout is now the picture of great health and exudes love for people. With a protective instinct and a penchant for forming bonds with family members of all sizes, Scout is not just a dog; he's a special companion waiting to make a lasting impact in a loving home. We hold an event every weekend at our facility on SATURDAY and SUNDAY 11-5pm and open to the public. It is first come first serve we do not evaluate applications prior to an event. If there are multiple interested parties in the same dog or puppy at the same time we would pick the best out of the 10 applications. Midnight is crate trained, good with large dogs and kids. He’s a very playful boy who would thrive in a home with an outdoorsy person. Midnight loves camping and hiking at national parks. At night, he loves to curl up on the couch and watch a superhero movie or Game of Thrones. This guy is a trooper, let us tell you! He has endured 2 different shelter systems in the past couple months. Thankfully, he is one of the lucky ones that was able to escape euthanasia.
