Story
Flora is a beautiful German Shepherd, approximately five years old, with a gentle and loving personality. She has been part of our family since she was a puppy and has grown up in a home environment. Flora is fully potty trained and lets you know when she needs to go outside. She is comfortable living indoors but also enjoys spending time outside, especially going on walks and playing. She is affectionate, loyal, and truly a big cuddly baby who loves being close to her people. Flora previously had a companion, a terrier mix named FiFi, who sadly passed away last year, so Flora has been without another dog for about a year. Due to recent financial hardships, job loss, and the need to move into a smaller apartment, we are no longer able to provide the space and stability she deserves. We are looking for a loving home or adopter who can give Flora the attention, care, and companionship she needs. She would make a wonderful, devoted addition to the right family.

Story
Firu was saved on his euthanasia date from South LA in May. He has come a long way since then, from acting feral and anxious to becoming an affectionate, friendly boy. He knows sit and his name and walks much better on leash, and he finally is showing his personality. Unfortunately there is fighting with the two dogs I had already that I cannot keep him and hadn't intended to when I got him. I wanted to save him and find a home for him, and I think he's come a long way from when I first met him. He is truly a loving boy but he doesn't get the amount of time he deserves as I am spread between three dogs sadly.

Story
Meet Benny! This 5-year-old German Shepherd mix (he's got some Labrador Retriever in his DNA too) is the perfect blend of loyal companion and easygoing best friend. Benny comes when called—every time—and is always up for a walk or training session (especially if treats are involved!). He’s a quick learner and consistently follows your lead. Need an enthusiastic security system? Benny will announce visitors like a pro, but his tough-guy act stops at the bark. When it’s time to relax, Benny is happy to chill at your feet while you work, read, or watch TV. Want a snuggle buddy? He’ll hop on the sofa. Prefer your space? He’ll respect that too. Benny is all about making you happy. He’s great with small dogs and, with proper introductions, does well with cats. He can be selective with bigger dogs, so slow intros are key. Benny doesn’t beg for food, and he’s wonderfully respectful of your belongings—no chewing on shoes, clothes, or glasses. Benny thrives in a calm, kind environment, where someone is home most of the time. Most of all, he wants to be by your side, wherever you are. If you're looking for a devoted, low-maintenance, and loving companion, Benny’s your guy. **Follow Benny on Instagram: [@frr.bennyboy](https://www.instagram.com/frr.bennyboy/)** **Apply to meet him — your new shadow is waiting!**

Story
Meet Jingle Name: Jingle DOB: April 23, 2025 Current Weight: 45 pounds (medium sized dog) Health: Healthy, fully vaccinated, spayed Jingle is a sweet, soulful young girl with a gentle sparkle in her eyes and a heart full of love waiting to be shared. She has a thoughtful, affectionate nature and a playful curiosity that makes her a joy to be around. Whether she’s quietly observing the world or happily joining in on the fun, Jingle brings warmth, calm, and happiness wherever she goes. Personality Jingle is affectionate, attentive, and deeply people-oriented. She loves being near her humans and thrives on reassurance, praise, and connection. She has a soft, loving side that shows during cuddle time and a playful, energetic side that comes out during walks, games, and exploration. She’s eager to learn, responsive to guidance, and already showing signs of becoming a loyal, devoted companion. Breed Info: Belgian Malinois Shepherd & Terrier Mix This intelligent and athletic mix offers the perfect balance of brains and heart. Smart, alert, and eager to learn Loyal and bonds closely with their family Active and thrives with both physical and mental stimulation Does best with routine, structure, and positive reinforcement Expected to be medium to large in size once fully grown This breed mix is ideal for adopters who enjoy engagement, training, and building a strong human–dog bond. Owner Responsibilities Jingle will need: Daily exercise and enrichment to keep her happy and balanced Continued training with patience and positive reinforcement Consistency, routine, and gentle leadership Plenty of time, love, and inclusion as part of the family She is still growing emotionally and physically and will flourish most with an adopter committed to guiding her through puppyhood and adolescence. &#226&#154&#160&#239&#184&#143 Things to Consider Before Adopting Before bringing Jingle home, please thoughtfully consider: Your time and ability to commit to training and companionship Your living situation, including landlord approval and space Long-term plans such as moving, work changes, or travel The financial responsibility of food, vet care, training, and enrichment The reality of adopting a young dog who is still learning and growing Adoption is a lifelong promise — not just for today, but for every stage of her life. Vet Care Although Jingle is healthy, vaccinated, and spayed, adopters should schedule a visit with their own veterinarian as soon as possible after adoption to establish care and support a smooth transition. The 3-3-3 Rule (Very Important!) First 3 days: Jingle may feel overwhelmed as she adjusts to new sights, sounds, and people — patience and reassurance are essential. First 3 weeks: She’ll begin learning your routine, building confidence, and understanding what it means to belong. First 3 months: Trust deepens, her true personality shines, and she’ll know she is finally home. This adjustment period is normal and requires time, consistency, and love. Why Jingle Will Be an Amazing Addition Jingle is the kind of dog who quietly works her way into your heart and stays there forever. She’s loving, loyal, and eager to grow alongside her person. With guidance, patience, and commitment, she will become a devoted companion — one who offers comfort, joy, and unwavering love every single day. If you’re ready to open your heart and home to a bright, affectionate young dog and commit to a lifetime together, Jingle is ready to meet you &#226&#156&#168   If you are interested in adopting this amazing dog, please follow the link https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions and fill out an application  Thank you for choosing Ozzie and Friends Rescue.
