Story
Found this little guy hiding behind the trash cans in my driveway. He had no collar on and wasn’t microchipped. I couldn’t locate the owner unfortunately. He is incredibly sweet and doesn’t have an alpha personality. Seems a little clingy (will follow you everywhere - but he’s still adjusting to my home, I’ve only had him for a week) so he may have been neglected. He gets along well with my dog but has become attached to me quickly so can get a little possessive at times and will growl at my dog sometimes - but I haven’t seen any signs of aggression. He’s pretty low energy so I think he might be 5-6ish years old. Also isn’t destructive at all (chewing, digging, etc) but will wine a little if you leave him.

Story
Age - almost 2 years old. Weight - 55 Pounds. Evie was rescued from being euthanized at the shelter. She was an owner surrender because she was brought in and the family expected their teen son to fully care for her and when he didn't, they dumped her. Really sweet girl just takes a second to warm up to new people. We believe she is a German Shepard mix about 2 years old. She has been to board and train and knows all her basic commands and she is fully crate trained. She is super on point with her training and listens extremely well. We believe she would be a good canidate for any families that wish to further her training into more advanced thing such as scent work, agility, even police dog work we think she would do great! Evie is one of those dogs where as long as she has her tennis ball she is all good to go! She will chase her ball for hours and hours. She is dog friendly but she just might thrive best in a home with no other dogs so she can really shine and get the attention she thrives! Evie has been in the care of the Rescue for over a year and has only had 2 short foster offers of only a week and otherwise has been fully in our care the last year. She has been through a month of board and train as well and comes with 2 free training lessons with her trainer. If interested in adopting Evie, kindly fill out the application found here: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptionsApril 25, 2024, 10:14 pm
