Maxie is turning 5 y.o mixed German shep & lab and is very sweet and friendly dog and has lots of energy. She's also good with kids and other dogs. I got Maxie together with her sister Marsa from Save A life pet rescue, Inc last 2020 and wa s born 11/08/2019. Unfortunately I a have a 2 year old baby girl and has unresolved skin issues and we just found out that she has a severe allergies to dogs. And now it is sad to say that I need to let go of my dogs for the sake of my baby. I really hope that they can find a loving and safe home. This saddens us, but we need to prioritize my baby's health. Please help us find them a home.

Story
Sasha is being fostered in PA. Sasha needs to be an only dog. She does not like active dogs Sasha can ONLY be adopted to a home with older children or all adults. Sasha is NOT good with cats. Sasha is spayed. Christmas time is here, soon a new year will dawn, and I’m still patiently waiting for my furever home and that special family to give me lots of love and belly rubs. I enjoy walks and will do OK without a fenced yard if you take me out on walking adventures. If you have a fenced yard I will run and play with you. I just enjoy the company of peeps. I don’t care to be with other dogs, just be by myself with my humans. I am a good girl in the house…unless you leave tasty morsels of food on the counter. Then I may just have to help myself! I know Sit, Down, am learning Wait, but I don’t really want to wait, hee hee. I also do pretty well on a leash. I’m still working on some other things like no jumping up on my peeps. I just want to greet and say Hi and give kisses and hugs to my peeps. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
**EXTREMELY URGENT: MUST FIND PLACEMENT BY SEPTEMBER 30th** Jeffery is a 7-year-old, 78 lb, German Shepard looking for his forever family.  Jeffery is low energy and would love a family who will understand him and be willing to work with him while transitioning into an indoor dog life, he has lived his entire life outside in a pen. While he is a little anxious being out of his pen and in the world, he has shown no reactivity and just needs patience. Due to the limited history it is unknown if he is good around cats, dogs, or kids. In order to set him up for success, an experienced home with no kids or pets that is dedicated to helping him learn to socialize is needed. We would NOT be interested in placing Jeffrey in another outdoor living situation - at his age and with the weather in Florida, he deserves a roof over his head. We would be open to placement in a "shop dog" type scenario if he had a climate controlled shop/garage or barn to relax in and escape the elements.  Adoption requirements are as such: No other pets  No kids under 16 due to limited history Experience with undersocialzied/anxious pups Not a first time dog owner No apts/condos Experience with large dogs   Jeffrey has to find his new forever home because his owner passed away and he's currently being cared for by his owner's grandson. Please note, Jeffrey is part of Happy Trails Animal Rescue’s rehoming program. Information provided is based on their current guardian’s statements and limited interaction with volunteers. They are not under the care of the rescue. They are under the care of their current guardian. The owner is subject to placement outside of our organization. We cannot guarantee availability. Adoption fee WAIVED to an experienced home. ##1656808##

Story
Alpha is a beautiful two year old German Shepherd, registered with AKC PAL. A typical shepherd, she can be initially aloof with new people but is very friendly and loves to snuggle as soon as she has sniffed you a bit. She is housebroken and well behaved at home, and loves snuggling up for some TV time after training sessions. Alpha is fully crate trained but enjoys the freedom of being out all day. Her favorite thing in the whole wide world is her tennis ball. She thrives in an energetic environment and enjoys obedience training, and may be too active for younger children, but a wonderful addition to a home with children aged 12 and up. She does get along with male dogs but she can be bossy and has struggled previously to share her home with another bossy female dog. She does respond well to corrections, though she can be a bit pushy at times. She would do great as an only dog with her person and her ball, but could also do well with another dog with the right personality (preferably a male medium-large dog).  PLEASE NOTE: MUST be a home owner to adopt Alpha, no renters. Adoption fee $150, spayed and current on vaccines. Alpha is one of three 2 year old female German Shepherds from the same litter. We are looking for adopters for all three sisters, who must be placed separately from one another.  ##2107688##

Story
Mia is a 2 year old pure bred German Shepherd dog. She is a little shy and aloof when meeting new people but is not reactive and is calm, gentle and submissive. She is housebroken and excels at recall, sitting, and staying on command. Mia struggles with anxiety and is anxious during car rides. She also has some separation anxiety and can be mildly destructive in the house when left alone, she loves her chew toys and does well when given something appropriate to occupy her when alone. She thrives on routine, with a set potty schedule and bedtime, and is looking for a patient, experienced shepherd adopter. She must be the only pet in the home. Older children okay. PLEASE NOTE: MUST be a home owner to adopt Mia, no renters. Adoption fee $150, Mia is spayed and current on vaccines. ##2138069##

Story
Dante is a 4 yearold pure bred german shepard that my ex wanted. Hes in the navy so he couldnt keep him so Dante came with me when I divorced. Dante has a loud bark but hes a sweetheart. He loves to play fetch and craves to be near you. Dante is a sweet boy but he does have his share of undesirable traits. Thanks to a unresponsible owner at the dog park poor Dante had been attacked, since then been a tad bit aggressive with his food/water and sometimes toys. I used to petsit so we had many dogs in and out the house and he was always good with them minus a growl/warning lung over some attempting to take his ball. Hes been trained extensively but hes stubborn and will attempt the trash if given an opportunity. He LOVES cats, too much actually. Obsessive enough to chase after them and whine when he cant get to them. So preferrably he should go to a home without cats unless they love dogs.Hes more of an inside dog as he hates the heat outside due to his coats.. unless its for fetch!
