Story
Cinder – ID #17916 – Kennel #19 Arrived March 31st – Dutch Shepherd Mix – Brindle – Female – 4 years old – 37.2 lbs – Will be spayed prior to adoption – Up to date on vaccines – Heartworm negative Meet Cinder — a breathtakingly beautiful brindle Dutch Shepherd mix with warm amber eyes and an elegance about her that is absolutely impossible to ignore. This precious girl arrived at the shelter on March 31st, and while she carries a little shyness with her, one look at that stunning face makes it clear that this is a dog worth every bit of patience and gentleness she may need to feel safe and loved again.   Cinder knows how to sit when asked and takes treats with the most delicate, gentle softness — this sweet girl is clearly something very special. She is a slender girl who could stand to gain a pound or two, and what she needs most right now is a calm, nurturing home where she can relax, eat well, and finally exhale. The right person is going to watch her blossom and feel so grateful they were the one who got to be there for it.   At 4 years old Cinder is in the prime of her life, with so many beautiful years ahead of her just waiting to be spent with a family who will cherish her. She is heartworm negative and up to date on all of her vaccines, and she will be spayed prior to adoption — healthy at heart and ready for the fresh start she so deeply deserves.   If you have been looking for a gentle, gorgeous, and deeply special girl who simply needs a soft place to land and someone to believe in her, Cinder is waiting for you in Kennel #19. Come meet her — she is ready for her person, and all she needs is for that person to come find her. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
