Story
Sirius is a 1 year old Dutch Shepherd/Belgian Malinois mix with brindle coloring. He is highly intelligent, loves to play fetch and be outside, and equally adores being cuddled and pet by those he is comfortable with. He is loyal, goofy, and an exceptional dog. Due to his intelligence and breed, training will be essential to keep his brain stimulated and to help him improve his confidence. He would be best suited in a home with someone who has experience owning this breed or similar and/or is experienced in dog training/has access to adequate training. He already is housebroken, understands some basic commands, and is eager to please anyone he meets. He does not bark or react to any household noises. He is uncomfortable meeting new people at first and has a tendency to snap to express discomfort but is able to overcome his fears relatively quickly. He is a big softie and is looking for a home that can help him become the best version of himself.

Meet handsome Farley! He ended up at the shelter as a lost boy on 2/23, and no one has come to reclaim him. We're surprised no one is missing Farley, he seems to be well taken care of and his coat is clean and beautiful. Farley is now hoping his new forever family is out there and will welcome him home any day now. The volunteers describe Farley as friendly, treat-motivated, and energetic. For being a senior, Farley sure doesn't act like it; he has lots of pep left in his step! Farley is approximately 8 years old, and he weighs 74 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Please come meet Farley in run 87; his ID # is 653872. Story
This stunning GSD is Hughes! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 3/30, and no one has come to reclaim him. Hughes is not a fan of the shelter and he'd really like to find a new, loving home quickly! The shelter environment with all the loud noises and strange smells is confusing to him. The volunteers discovered that Hughes knows several commands including sit and lay down. It appears as though Hughes had a loving home at one point; his fur is clean and very soft. If you're looking for a loyal and loving companion look no further, come meet Hughes! Hughes is approximately 5 years old, and he weighs 65 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines, and he will be neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested upon adoption. Hughes is waiting in run 26; his ID # is 655547.
