Story
Captain's a super smart, super friendly pup! He's incredibly affectionate towards people, and absolutely loves to play with other dogs - especially the ladies. He's also very well-mannered and walks gently on his leash. Basically, he's the total package, the perfect Casanova! This sweet boy was due to be put to sleep at a kill shelter until he was rescued at the last second by SSR. Unfortunately, he's been stuck in boarding until we can find his forever family or a loving foster home. Apply to give Captain the second chance he so desperately deserves here: https://www.sheltersxshelvesrescue.org/apply-here

Story
We adopted Luna from our local shelter a few months ago. She is highly intelligent and a super sweet dog with a ton of energy. Unfortunately, she requires more attention than we are able to provide her at this stage in our lives. She is house AND crate trained. She loves toys and will play fetch forever. She sleeps soundly through the night. She would be a wonderful companion for anyone who loves outdoors and who has the time and energy to keep up with her.

Story
Hello there, my name is Chowder! I am considered a little bit of a Houdini as I like to amaze you with my abilities to escape some of my enclosures. I am really just trying to show you where your security needs improvement, but I understand not everyone needs a new security specialist. If you are willing to teach me a new specialty I would love to learn and am very food motivated! I have heard obedience training is all the rage now days and am willing to give it a go if you are. I know a lot of people are looking for companions that are already house trained, and I am happy to report that I like keeping a clean house as much as you do! I am such a fun-loving guy and full of energy so I am not sure that younger kids would like me much, but I would love to run around with older kids.

We can't say enough about Greta! She was on an adventure when spotted and arrived to the shelter on 5/9. Greta is 6 years old and weighs in at 82 pounds. She is a really great dog! Her heart is full of love and she is very smart. Greta knows to sit, shake and lay down when asked. Wouldn't Greta be perfect for your family? We think so. Ask for ID# 644655 Run 85. She is up-to-date on vaccines and spayed; she will be micro-chipped upon adoption. Greta has tested negative for heart worms. Story
Say hello to this exquisite little beauty named Clea. Clea arrived at the shelter on 5/26 because her former owner could no longer take care of her properly. She had been adopted when she was 2 months old. This precious little baby is feeling sad and confused. This may have been the only home she has ever known. A volunteer is helping her bring out her personality. Just takes a little time and patience. Puppies are a lot of work and it takes the right person or family to help raise them properly. Give them activities to stimulate them and encourage them everyday so they don't have to wonder out in this strange world all alone. This angel does not need to start out growing up in a LOUD, OVERCROWDED SHELTER. She is absolutely a sweetheart! Clea is hoping she will not have to spend another day in the loud shelter. She needs a fresh start in a great life. Clea is just 9 months old and weighs 60lbs. She should be a medium to large sized pup when full grown. Clea stays pretty quiet inside her run. She is super intelligent as she knows simple commands such as sit when asked. She may know more and would be willing to learn so much more. She will need some training in her puppy years but with the right patient person to teach them, she will have that down in no time! Clea is really hoping to meet an awesome family that will take her into their home and make her feel the luckiest gal on the planet and include Clea in every milestone there is. Give Clea a chance to be the best pup we already know she is! She is also great with kids, housebroken, and great with other animals! Clea is current on vaccines, spayed and micro chipped. She has tested negative for heartworms which is great news for her! This cutie pie is patiently waiting for you in Run 23 and her ID is 645119. Please note, all of the pet listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers, not shelter staff.
