Story
Bear is such a funny, sweet, EXTREMELY energetic five year old Dutch Shepherd who needs a loving, understanding, patient owner and home. An ideal environment would be one that includes a lot of space to run around at full speed, and a very fit, active owner. Bear is very smart and obedient, but will need more training in recall when off-leash. He is very curious with cats and thinks they are play things, so he comes off aggressive. With dogs, Bear gets very excited and caution should be exercised during introductions while he gets a feel for the other dog's energy and attitude. After the introduction, he loves to run and play! All in all, Bear would make a very fun, energetic, snuggly companion for the right owner or family. Dutch Shepherds are a working breed, and need someone who fully understands and is educated about this breed.

Story
Meet Amber Leah – Loyal, Smart & Ready for Home Amber Leah is a 2–3-year-old German Shepherd with a heart full of love and resilience. She’s 56 lbs, gaining strength every day, and showing her playful, loyal spirit. Amber is house-trained, crate-comfortable, and enjoys toys, bones, and staying close to her people. She already knows how to sit, stay, and shake, down, wait and she’s eager to keep learning. She loves quiet time on the couch just as much as playtime in the yard. She has Pancreatic Enzyme Insufficiency (PEI), a common GSD condition that simply requires an enzyme with each meal—an easy routine that helps her thrive. Amber would do best as the only pet, though with slow introductions she can live with another dog. She’s still practicing leash manners and learning to relax around other dogs. Her ideal home is probably a calmer suburban setting with a privacy fence, but with the right person and structure she can thrive anywhere. Amber Leah is spayed, vaccinated, and ready to find her forever family. If you’ve ever loved a German Shepherd, you know how deep that bond can be—Amber is ready to share it with you. Apply to adopt Amber Leah today.  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          November 28, 2025, 7:17 pm

Story
Meet Marley – A Loyal Heart Looking for a Confident Leader! Marley is a beautiful shepherd mix with a big heart and an even bigger desire to please the people she trusts. She’s house-trained, well-mannered in the home, and gets along with other dogs and older children. True to her breed, Marley is intelligent, observant, and eager to learn — she just needs the right person to help her shine. Marley can be a little unsure in new situations and is sensitive to loud noises, so she’ll do best in a calm, predictable environment with someone experienced with shepherds or confident handling large breeds. She thrives on structure, enrichment, and gentle leadership that helps her build trust and confidence. Marley loves her meals but can be a bit protective of her food, so a family that understands boundaries and positive training will help her feel secure. In return, she’ll reward you with loyalty, love, and the joy of watching her blossom into her best self. If you’re looking for a devoted companion who will give her whole heart once she feels safe, Marley may just be the perfect match. Please note, we receive a large number of applications.
