Dutch the Dutch Shepherd is a male 1-1/2 year old. He is neutered. House trained and very lovable. He has lots of energy as he is still a puppy. He is also chill and loves napping. He sleeps in his kennel with the door open all night. He doesn’t wake us up till we get up. He loves his walks and is very good on leash. He is sometimes very eager to walk and can’t stay still long enough to put collar on. He does live with a cat and they play together. He has never hurt his cat. He still needs more training.

We adopted Odin from the Atlanta Humane Society when he was a puppy. He is beyond a good dog. He is now seven, and we are unable to give him the exercise he requires. Our schedule doesn't allow us to be as active as it used to be for him. This has caused him to act out by eating off the counters, growling if our baby gets near him, and occasionally showing obedience. This is all on us since we can't get him stimulated as he needs, and that hurts me. I want him to go somewhere that he will get all the attention and exercise that his breed desires. He is a good boy and an awesome companion when he gets to work. He is a bit wild around other dogs, so some may want to fight, but he is friendly if they are equally wild. The fee is to ensure he goes to someone who really wants him and can afford to provide for him.

He was adopted, and we rescued her from a shepherd rescue, who, without meeting her, decided they weren’t going to take her. Not a problem, as this dog will be a gift to someone. She is calm and quiet, great with other dogs, very clean in her kennel, healthy, and already spayed, which means someone took care of her. We have a hard time finding homes for shepherds, but he was out of time, and we weren’t leaving him. It turns out that Snow is a great dog; he’s still a puppy, but bright and eager to learn. He gets along well with other dogs and appears to be housetrained in his kennel. We would love to find an owner who is familiar with the breed and has the time and patience to train a young dog. Gunner is a four month old, 24 pound shepherd mix puppy who was picked up as a stray. Gunner (the fosters call him Alf) is shy at first, and needs a slow introduction, but once he knows you, he is a goofy, playful, and cuddly puppy. He loves toys and playing with the other dogs in his foster home. He is doing great on potty training and sleeps through the night. Gunner is incredibly smart and will do best in a home where someone will continue his training.
