Story
Hi I'm Savvy!! A super smart and loyal friend looking for an active human to hike, jog, and camp with. I love lounging equally and won't judge if we just do a lazy day Sunday as well. Heck, I'll even wear your favorite team's jersey! Just don't forget the chips and snacks because I enjoy those too! Other dogs are fine and just give me a minute to get to know them; after that, it's all fun!

Can we all agree that I’m absolutely adorable? I'm a confident and loving pup who has never met a stranger, and I love playing with any/other dogs. All I want is love, belly rubs, and a ball to chase. I can carry on full conversations with - cuz I am a talker👉 ADOPT ME! I’m patiently waiting to meet my forever family. Could that be you? I’m currently staying with my loving foster family, but I can’t wait to find the humans I’ll call my family. Here’s what you should know about me:✔️ Super friendly—I love everyone!✔️ Basic training? Check!✔️ Healthy and full of energy!✔️ Obsessed with balls and backyard adventures!✔️ Excellent car ride buddy, especially if there’s a pup cup at the end.I’m known for my goofy personality and my habit of chatting it up with everyone I meet. People always leave saying I’m their new best friend! (P.S. I’d love to meet the lawn guy, but his loud machines sound way too much like my arch-nemesis: the vacuum cleaner. Yikes!)When I’m not protecting my yard from big flying birds (someone’s gotta do it!), you’ll find me ready for our next road trip, play session, or cuddle.I’m so ready for a family to love me, and a backyard to call my own. Story
Nova is a smart, playful, affectionate dog with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She forms strong bonds with her people and loves attention, engagement, and being included in whatever is going on.She is incredibly intelligent and learns quickly. Puzzle toys, enrichment activities, training, and interactive play are some of her favorite things, and she thrives when she has both mental and physical stimulation.Nova is also very loving and social with people. She does well with my teenage granddaughter and enjoys being close to her people. Like many young, intelligent dogs, she can become overly excited when she hasn’t had enough exercise, attention, or stimulation.⸻Training & Skills✔️ Kennel trained✔️ Housebroken✔️ Highly intelligent and trainable✔️ Loves toys, enrichment, and interaction⸻Things to Know About NovaNova does best with structure, routine, and clear boundaries. She has shown some resource guarding behaviors around high-value items such as food-filled Kongs, toys, or when resting in her kennel with something she values. Because of this, she is best fed separately and given her own space to enjoy special treats. She is:• Fearful of cats• Likely best without very young children• Selective with some dogs, especially in high-energy environmentsNova is currently in a very busy foster home with many dogs, and she would likely thrive in a home where she can receive more individual attention, exercise, and engagement.⸻Ideal HomeNova would do best with someone who:• Enjoys an active, intelligent dog• Can provide structure and consistency• Wants an affectionate, engaged companion• Understands basic boundaries and management around high-value itemsAARF Houston transports to approved adopters outside of Texas.

I was left in front of an abandoned store to fend for myself. My luck changed, however, when some kind humans got me to safety. I am a young and active guy. I would love a doggie friend or even a jogger to take me out. I do know a few commands, am in excellent health, and can't wait to find my forever family. I have not met cats yet.

Story
Gunner is the best sidekick. He is VERY smart and loves to entertain with new tricks. He was an indoor dog but is making my daughter sick so has been staying outside- he is developing allergies now. He needs a new home- he deserves a happy life without allergies. He likes to hang out and be with people but doesn’t cuddle much. He is trained to stay in the tiled areas of our kitchen and does not break the house rules when he is inside. He does not bark at all inside and is trained to sit on his “mat” when the doorbell rings. He loves a morning and evening walk/run and is good on leash- he gets nervous around new people approaching him (bad vet experience once) but is easily won over with treats. He is seven and we rescued him but we have had some life changes since then and cannot give him the attention or time indoors that he needs now. Trying to find a home we know he’s safe with instead of looking for shelter space.

Story
Luna was purchased through a breeder who had pure bred German Shepherd parents. Her mom was a long-haired White GS and dad was a silver haired GS. She came into our life in 2017, so she is just over 10 years old. Luna is a loyal dog who loves attention. She is kind and caring and liked to bark her mind. We are looking for a family that doesn't mind taking walks (she loves be being walked). She loves the outdoors in general and is good around other dogs. She is spayed and is current with all her shots. I just can't care for her anymore since losing my job. She would be a welcome addition to any family that is willing to adopt her.

Story
We found this sweet girl on the streets in August of 2025. She clearly came from a rough situation but she was gentle from the beginning. She is very smart and loyal. She walks perfectly on a leash. She loves to play fetch. She does not beg for food. She loves to carry items around whether it’s a toy, shoe, food bowl, etc. She does not chew or tear anything up (unless it’s a sock…she loves socks!) She loves taking naps, going for walks, playing fetch, or just doing what you’re doing! She is great with kids whether they are petting her, asking for licks, throwing the ball, etc. She has been around 3yo to teenagers. Please adopt her!
